What does Christopher Bryan Speight, the suspect in eight shooting deaths in Appomattox have in common with Michael McClendon, Paul Michael Merhige, Troy Brake, Frank Garcia, William Maxwell, George Sodini and too many others?
All, like Speight, are accused or have been convicted in the last couple years of multiple murders. And all, like Speight, had concealed carry permits.
This appears to be a growing trend - perhaps because states have been loosening requirements to receive a concealed carry permit? Anybody have other ideas why so many perpetrators of recent shooting sprees have been concealed carry holders?
When I pointed out that guns do not operate without human influence, the nutjobs deleted my post over there.
I figure that a few of my fellow Freepers might want to explain the why Radmacher's logic is fundamentally flawed.
Ping
They scrubbed my post off the board within minutes.
They were all brought into the world by women too but I’m not sure that proves much. It doesn’t help our cause much no matter how you cut it.
Are we to believe the people in question WOULDN’T have murdered anyone had they not had a concealed carry permit?
This article is totally pointless. Would it make a difference if a drunk driver had a driver’s license?
so 5 of them , OK how many gang bangers and thugs in the ghetto have shot someone today without a gun permit
I guess the point he is making is that 7 crazies are enough justifications to disarm millions of law abiding, responsible gun owners. Yeah...that makes sense./s
Talk to these same folks and I guarantee you they will consider Islam a religion of peace, with a few wing nuts. Talk to them about concealed permittees, and they’ll label every one a vile person.
Do away with the general public, for its own protection and safety of course.
If others had a right to carry, maybe he wouldn’t have had a chance to kill 8 people.
I wouldn’t even waste my time there, quite honestly. I tried posting in several of Dan Casey’s blogs, and there are three or four left-wing lunatics that dominate his threads — including him.
They’re insane, and will never see your point on anything.
I never had a post deleted, but when I hit them with facts they simply ignored the post altogether.
So the trend continues that the people that commit crimes like this surprise everybody, no one ever thought they would do such a thing. Some of them even were able to get CCW.
During the time span of CCW becoming so popular in the related jurisdictions, have the murder and armed robbery rates gone up or down?
I’ll bet a comment like this post would be deleted on their blog also.
Is this paper on the Dinomedia Death Watch list too?
Look around at the bills being passed - you think this isn't the Rat's goal?
I’d be willing to bet a lot of new CCW holders feel a bit of the same at one time or another. The problem with nut cases with a CCW is there’s no one to reel them in when they get froggy with someone.
The leap of logic it takes to use the CCW in a causal relationship with the actions of the holder is one that ONLY a libtard could make...with a straight face.
It’s time to take back the country.
From what very little I read about this case the guy lived in the home with the victims (or some of them I suppose as there seemed to be a lot of children with various last names) so it appears he didn’t need to carry anything anywhere to commit the crimes.
You don’t need a permit to be a criminal.
