Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry died Thursday morning after he was seriously hurt during what police are calling a "domestic situation" in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday.
The team's receiver fell out of the back of a pickup truck Wednesday during what police described as a domestic dispute with his fiancee. Henry was found in the road about eight miles north of downtown Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Police spokesman Robert Fey said officers were stationed near the 26-year-old Henry's hospital room.

sad situation I would not wish on him but Henry has always had anger management issues going back to his days at WVU, a violent streak he could not control and was given opportunity after opportunity which he wasted....
this may seem callous, though it is not meant that way-
What did this crazy woman do, drive wildly with him on the back? This is one of the most bizarre stories I have ever heard!
Do you view major public fights with the mother of his children to be on the path to success?
They weren’t married yet. When homicide is involved in the investigation, they know something isn’t right.
As a lifelong Steeler fan, I am too. It is human nature I think, that when things go wrong, and bad things befall us, we find it easy to get on our knees and beg God not to give us more than we can handle. However, when good fortune smiles upon us, and we are blessed with gifts and successes, it never occurs to us that maybe we ought to do the same thing, and beg God not to give us more than we can deall with.
A quick look at professional sports, hollywood and the music world is all one needs to realize that too much success poorly managed is potentially every bit as disastrous as any series of tragedies.
I guess Elin Nordegren Woods is African-American by injection, then.
I read he has three kids by 3 or 4 different wimmin, he forgot the actual tally.
Earlier it was reported he jumped into the back of a pickup but now he fell out. Which is it?
I think she will have to prove fear. Like I said, if she was injured by him, she walks of course. But if not, it will depend on the DA.
I wonder if she left the kids in the house when she left.
I speaking about from 2007 when he was given his final chance from the Bengals until this incident. I cannot speculate on what happened here but it appeared he was turning it around. I believe in second chances and redemption.
By everything I’ve read, Henry seemed to have turned his life around. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
She was his fiance, not his wife. My guess is the three children - his or hers - were from shack-ups rather than marriages.
From the reports I’ve heard, it’s hard to say if she was driving wildly or not. Riding in the back of a pickup truck can be a dangerous endeavor if the road is bad—I see quite a few stories of injuries and death that way. As a kid, I used to do it all the time, so I guess I was lucky.
If he had three kids by 4 different wimmin, then that is really something.
And Matt Leinart.
If someone is in the back of the truck and they die, the driver can be charged.
There was no redemption after the second chance.....or the third.....or the fourth....
Beautiful family. Such a tragedy. The fact he took his family to Wyoming proves to me he wanted to get away from the bad influences.
