Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry died Thursday morning after he was seriously hurt during what police are calling a "domestic situation" in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday.
The team's receiver fell out of the back of a pickup truck Wednesday during what police described as a domestic dispute with his fiancee. Henry was found in the road about eight miles north of downtown Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Police spokesman Robert Fey said officers were stationed near the 26-year-old Henry's hospital room.

He broke his arm in a game against the Baltimore Ravens, and he was put on IR for the year. Therefore, he didn’t have to be at the facility practicing and studying film. His fiance’s family lived in Charlotte, and he was down there working on wedding plans.

The only thing I have seen is that she drove off and he was in the back. I haven’t seen any talk of motive yet.

One of them came banging on his door in the middle of the night looking for money, even though his child support was all paid up. Wonder how that’s working out for him now that he’s back in the car wash?
If I'm defending her "self defense" never comes up at trial. She was fleeing an assault and his death was incidental to her flight.
It is a sad state - kids are looked at as trophies - I had “his baby” - and the kids suffer from not having a father in their lives. But 8 kids is astounding.
Kids are looked upon as meal tickets. Either from a professional athelete or from the welfare department.
I know - it is so sad. Many grandparents are raising the kids after Mom decides partying is more fun than taking care of them too.

Boy, it’s just been a bumper crop this past couple of weeks of blanket idiotic statements from commenters here in regards to stereotyping entire ethnic groups, hasn’t it? And people still wonder where the right gets its bad reputation in these regards.

You’re right, the black culture is decidedly non violent, and because you can find an example of a white woman being violent, that totally nullifies my observation. Black people are always peace loving, and don’t do things like shoot each other. Black women in particular are just sweet demure things. I acknowledge my error.
I also acknowledge that islam is a religion of peace.
And that progressives just want what’s best for people.
And feminists want equality not superiority.

He was a troubled kid but a fantastic football player.

I do too. This is extremely sad. As a Bengals fan, I loved to watch Henry play. To tell the truth, I’m having trouble imagining how his fiancee could deliberately shake him from the truck - if that’s what happened. It’s horrible and needs to be investigated.
Yes, but he was not invited into the back of the truck. He chased her down, as she attempted to flee him, jumped into the back of the truck and, according to a 911 caller, was banging on the rear windshield of the pickup while she was drivng. 100% his own fault.
The 911 call from a woman watching the truck said he was banging heavily on the truck rear window.
His fiancee may have been afraid he was going to break the glass and climb through it and hurt her?

Your ‘observation’ that all females of a certain hue are violent in regards to this matter is based on what, exactly? A man fell out of a truck? Brilliant. It’s no wonder you’re a Browns fan.
