Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.
We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty.
We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much.
Every once in a while some group of posters get together and try to bend Free Republic to their will. Now, we tend to be pretty free-wheeling around here and will take a lot of guff and a lot of obnoxious insults from a lot of people, but eventually a breaking point is reached.
For example, when a group of RINO lovers recently banded together to try to force FR to accept an abortionist/gay rights RINO as our presidential candidate, they soon found themselves on the outs.
And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.
FR is a pro-God, pro-Creator, pro-Life, pro-Liberty site.
And now we have yet another group of Darwinists trying to have their Darwinist way with us. Well, as I've said before what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger.
Darwin Central has again declared war on FR. They have ping lists and email lists and will try to pull away as many FReepers as they possibly can. So be it. Those who would rather go with Darwin, please go. I sure as hell won't try to stop you.
FR will remain a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-Creator conservative site.
We wholeheartedly believe that our unalienable rights are a gift from God our Creator not from man or government. And no man, no government will ever deprive us of same.
Keep your powder dry.
Nope, read my post at 225. Every once in awhile, a fertile mule turns up. If they were roaming abd breeding freely in the wild, instead of being kept separated by humans and their fences, sooner or later, some fertile mules would meet up and make little mules, and sooner or later some of these fertile mules would get isolated from the horse and donkey populations and interbreed for thousands of years, and lose the ability to interbreed with horses or donkeys. Though I’m not sure there’s been any serious research on whether any of the few fertile mules on record were able to breed with horses and/or donkeys — it may be that they’re already a separate species, but there aren’t enough of them, and they don’t have access to each other, so they aren’t reproducing.
Exactly! Adaption!! Like the fish who eventually didn’t have eyes because they lived in complete darkness in an underground lake.
Just friendly bantering. When I try to insult someone I use longer words.
Jim Kirk - "I'm not sure, but I think we've just been insulted."
Dr. McCoy - "I'm sure."
It's the Darwinist agenda. As with climate science, it's difficult to make your case (on either side of the spectrum) on a topic that would take untold years to prove. Regarding animal evolution , it would be wonderful (so says the Darwinist) if we could prove that evolution is not only happening, but happening "even faster than we thought."
(Now where have you heard that before?)
I think this is why the push right now in zoological circles is for splitting two subspecies that FREELY interbreed into two species. As I said in my previous post, a "split" is a way of "proving" that the process of evolution continues at an expeditious pace.
How bout dingle berry? Just like latinos like to put around the windows of their custom cars. I kinda like those dingle berries. I know Im not using the right term, but I dont know what the correct one is.

It is called “ball fringe”.
When my Mama was sick, I added something to that saying:
“. . . what doesn’t kill us will only make us stronger.”
But, I’d rather lift weights.
Dadgum, I just knew there was a reason I liked you the first time I met you...uh, sometime last century!
God Bless you JimRob!
I morphed from a smooth skin, silky haired young woman, into a wrinkley grey haired old woman...is that evolution or devolution?
Horse, donkey, mule, zebra, pony, all look very similar to me. For some reason God didn’t want Mules to breed. He had his reasons. They still look like horses not birds or cats. Not turning into humans any time soon.
yes
Exactly, we don’t have to learn every lesson, every generation. Yay, humans! (I just read “Going Rogue.” I’m still under the influence.)
And the purpose of this is...?
That’s age. I had hair once. Evolution had nothing to do with it.
I know. The (IBTZ) you used is a reference to same day sign up, same day post. 99% of the time it is a Zot! Freebirth was compelled to sign-up and respond after a clear statement from JimRob. In this environment of FReepers it must be sincere. God Bless
I think you are trying to draw a barrier between Christianity, particularly what you you think of as "fundamentalism" and science.
It's not there.
Free speech always works out well, and after Climategate I'm somewhat afraid too many of our supposed "scientists" are more busy keeping us from discovering their arm bands than in doing real science.
You should fear scientists and politicians who share an agenda of suppressing truth
Put in a word for me. According to what I’ve read here tonight I we might not be on speaking terms.
Then, drop it, just let it go!
If you’re not guilty of the things Jim mentioned, then Jim’s not talking to you, and so, you should quit answering him.
If this is how you react on a thread started by our founder and the man we’ve supported for over 10 years, then I can’t help but wonder about how you react on others.
