Creationists are ‘liars’?
CMI ^ | Tas Walker, Ph.D.

Creationists are ‘liars' (?): Geologist Donald Prothero doesn’t like the fact that we don’t agree with his ideas on evolution.

I love the attitude some evolutionists have toward professional, scientific debate. Because creationist scientists do not agree with their biased, subjective and unsubstantiated ideas they spit the dummy and call us liars.

The latest tirade from geologist Donald Prothero is in an opinion piece in NewScientist entitled ‘Evolution: What missing link?’1 I like that title.

His article was picked up by the Telegraph newspaper in the UK which reported, ‘Creationists “peddle lies about the fossil record”.’2

Lies? Are creationists really lying?

No!

It’s just that Prothero does not like the fact that we don’t agree with his ideas. It upsets him so much that he describes creationists in this way: ...

"Did you expect they would admit to lying?"

No, evolutionists wouldn't admit to breathing if you didn't catch them in the act.

Is not answering the question that was asked supposed to be clever?

Beware the ‘god of gaps’ approach. Science moves ever forward, while religious beliefs tend to stay the same. As science plugs the gaps, the belief that relies on them is diluted.

Let's start with the premise that he [Darwin]was not a scientist. On what do you base that assesment?

Read his biography, he did not earn a degree in any of the sciences, he graduated with a theology degree.

I'll have to continue this tomorrow, I have a life other than this thread and it's calling me.

Because GGG got caught by the mods putting anti-evolution keywords on a thread about string theory. Then he wouldn’t shut up and had ten posts removed.

Well, that seems pretty sad, really. Apparently he’s not a believer in the “get a life” “theory?”

When you get back, we’ll see if you’re willing to apply those same arguments to the Gregor Mendel and the field of genetics.

Courtesy ping to GGG which the evos AGAIN neglected.

FWIW, the evos are the last ones who should be pointing fingers about keywords.

They’re the masters at adding anti-creationist keywords themselves.

Typical evo hypocrisy.

You represented that as being what cladograms are based upon. That is incorrect.

But we wouldn't expect you to have any idea of the actual science because creationists sources misrepresent the actual science out of necessity. Your doing it when you suggest that those features are what cladograms are based upon, even if your using a legitimate source, you are misrepresenting the context that “The formation of the group is based upon shared evolutionary traits and descent is shown by the grouping?”

No, that is absolutely incorrect. Formation of the group is based upon a shared evolutionary trait and CONFIRMED by DNA analysis.

noone does really- but it’s just funny that the evosd- after hwining and railing about GGG’s threads for months now, how they are ‘suppsoed to be posted in religion’ DESPITE the fact that Jim Gave GGG permission to post wherever he likes, and getting nowhere in their lame attempts to micromanage FR, the evos then apparently have to resort to such a childish ‘retaliation’ tactic as though it’s goign to amount to more than a pisshole i nthe snow

You posted that to someone who hasn’t got the message himself- ‘stealth-insulting’ is about as lame as you can get- shows a real lack of courage

GGG likely only got *caught* after someone blew him in.

Let me guess.... the evos who keyword spam his threads themselves.

They can dish it out but can’t take it. Typical bullies.

precisely- and just for the record- iot wasn’t GGG’s posts that were deleted i nthat thread- they were mien for calling out the mod for being a hypocrite - apparently the truth hurt

Well, your an idiot because they were discussing string theory and none were people ever are in these threads. When I saw all the posts, they were already deleted.

Why did the Mod tell him to stay off the thread after all your deleted posts?

To me, it is all rather simple....Something came from nothing or it didn't.

That is the crux of the debate.

To others, the notion is refutable in that it explains that... “God must have come from nothing” if Creation is to be considered a rational idea at all ...

That is, one cannot use the argument that “something came from nothing” because it only logically leads to the conclusion that ultimately one must consider (and believe) that God had to have a beginning.

Fallacious reasoning abounds. Problem is, bright people are determined to conclude that because organized religion is largely corrupt, then the notion that God exists is fundamentally unsound.

The logic is faulty, and deaf ears are fruitful and multiply.

[[Well, your an idiot because they were discussing string theory and none were people ever are in these threads.]]

First of all- you sentance makes no sense whatsoever- so it’s a little funny you calling me an idiot- but whatever- if that’s what you need to do to make you feel better about yerself- then go right ahead- secondly- you certainly weren’t just ‘discussing string theory’- your only intent was to insult and malign GGG and creationsits

[[Why did the Mod tell him to stay off the thread after all your deleted posts?]]

Too bad you didn’t see the pulled posts- you’d know why the mod did so as I spelled it out in plain english which the mod took offense to because, once again, apparently the mod discovered that the truth hurt

The shared traits are ASSUMED to arise from an evolutionary relationship and often times no, repeat NO, DNA is available.
Cladograms can be constructed using such features as hair or the lack of it, etc. and such are again ASSUMED to have been derived so it is just as I said.
I misrepresent nothing at all, but if it is simply too difficult for you to understand I'll try to use smaller words or you can use the google button.

Shall I break it down to the “See the dog run, see the dog jump” level for you?

Thanks for the courtesy ping, Metmom. I see the evos are busy skewing and lying again to deflect attention away from the fact that their “theory” is going right down the toilet. Par for the course.
