Yes, that's what the commander-in-chief said to his troops today in South Korea. Well, give the bas**** credit for being honest for once.
Buried at the end of a Washington Post report on his decision to not decide on Afghanistan until after Thanksgiving is this George Washington moment for Barack Obama:
Obama arrived on the base 3:19 p.m. local time (1 a.m. Eastern Standard Time), and received a rousing welcome from 1,500 troops in camouflage uniforms, many holding cameras or pointing cell phones to snap pictures.
"You guys make a pretty good photo op," the president said.
Standing on a riser wearing a blue suit and red tie, with a cluster of troops and a large American flag behind him, Obama expressed "the gratitude of the American public" and said his meetings in four countries over eight days in Asia will help deliver a "safer more prosperous world for all of us."
He got a huge cheer when he told them he was increasing military pay. "That's what you call an applause line," he said, before boarding his jet and taking off at 4:11 p.m.
Don’t feel bad. I utterly despise him. He is a self-absorbed marxist thug liar. He is doing his damndest to destroy what is left our values and our economy.
That's the only time he has any interest in our soldiers - otherwise he's too busy golfing to decide whether to send the help our generals have said they need.
They're there. When I was the Station Chief at the Beale AFB Weather Station I was in charge of 12 enlisted. Three of them were stinkin', Clinton worshipping libs. If they had not been in the military they would have been on welfare (well, I exaggerate... only one would have been ACTIVELY looking to be on welfare - that's what she told me!).
That's 25% right there...annecdotal evidence but evidence just the same.
I would like to see a crowd photo, however. It seems his military crowds are becoming increasingly monochromatic!

There certainly is a color divide in the service wrt support for the President.
Yeah, no wonder NaziEmperor Obama appointed him!
Those mens’ faces speak louder than Zero’s empty words.
You’re right, it is dated, and I think I mentioned that. This one is more recent. The point is that blacks join the military at about the same percentage as they are in the general population. It irritates me when people spout the “poor disadvantaged black person” joining the military myth. I was in the Navy for 20 years, 16 of them as a recruiter. I can tell you that’s not who joins the military. That type of person usually can’t qualify to join.

” they probably promised the chosen invitees a super special lunch and an extra day of leave if they cheered adequately. “
Bingo.
Many of them were obviously excused from duty to attend.
Any break in the usual routine is a cause for celebration.
When packages and mail arrive from home, it’s a big deal.
Special meals like steak night are a big deal.
They would cheer for Bozo the Clown..oh wait .
HE doesn’t increase their pay; Congress does!
Of course they will cheer that, but of course the poseur takes the undeserved credit.
you can tell by their faces that they do not like him nor even respect him. Infact they look to be well pissed off with him.
Having served and knowing many who still do then I know for a fact that they do not like him at all.
He might get his photo op with them but he knows deep down they do not like nor do they respect him
the dithering in chief for sure.
Wonder when he will make his move and go against the military with his own civilian security force which will rival the military and be just as well funded
This socialist coward and defeatist has no shame what so ever but for certain he is the worst shame brought on our Republic.
Nobody is buying the phony pics with a few fill in rent a crowd troops. This administration doesn't have their best interest in mind and you can bet that the Troops know it! They're much smarter then he is.
I notice there weren’t any bows to our troops.
