Louisiana????? Wow the guy who beat that guy who took 90 thousand from the refrigerator. I think that FREEPERS were partying that night. It really frustrates me when FREEPERs give all these praises to people for absolutely NO REASON!!! Anyway Louisiana is as bad as South Carolina. They have that nasty Senator and now this house guy.

There Are no conservative Democrats anymore they switched to the Republican Party over the last 25 to 30 years!
To: jern
I think the election of the pro Obamacare, Bill Owens in NY-23 on Nov. 3rd tipped the vote to get it passed.
To: Gapplega
Cao from New Orleans. He didn’t vote until it had passed. I’m sure he had been whipped not to do so until it was certain it was going to pass.

That’s DAMN RIGHT. It is our right to dissolve a GOVERNMENT RUN AMUCK!

Bye Bye, Joe........I doubt it. He replaced William Jefferson (frozen money) and IIRC represents a lot of welfare recipients.

Joesph Cao still wants to run for re-election. Despite having zero chance of being re-elected, the RNC will still fund his campaign for his reward for being a useful Asian vote getter for McDonnell and Christie.

An exercise in futility. This will be bogged down in the Senate...
The Dems in the House that voted No were just playing cover-their-ass and Pelosi allowed it.
This battle has just begun...
Salient and mature response, no knee jerk here. Thanks...most tonight have been fatalist and more.

There are not 60 votes supporting this in the Senate — Lieberman is opposed along with Byrd and others. They do not have 60 votes and Dr. Coburn plans to read the bill on the floor of the Senate.
