FORT HOOD, Texas – The base commander at Fort Hood says soldiers who witnessed a shooting rampage that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire at the Texas post.
Lt. Gen. Robert Cone told NBC's "Today" show on Friday that suspected shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, made the comment, which is Arabic for "God is great!" before the rampage Thursday that also left 30 people wounded.

Islamic attack on US Armed Forces. The enemy is an orthodox Muslim. He is seen the morning of the attack in traditional Muslim garb, he has Alla written on his front door, he shouted the traditional "Allahu Akbar" cheer before attacking. However PCism will prevent the media and the government from reaching an obvious truth. So it should be entertaining watching them twist them selves into torturous knots trying to avoid the painful conclusion that Islam is not the religion of peace.

Exactly. The MSM will still try to portray it as an isolated, disgruntled soldier; but it will be little more difficult for them to bury the truth now that the general got the word out, on the Today show of all places!

Careful, now. The fine folks at NPR thinks we’re all too eager to ‘rush to judgement’ over whether or not this guy was a mooselimb. After all, why would his religion play any part in his motive for the attack?

Somebody please explain to me why we continue to accept Islam as a legitimate “religion”, rather than recognizing it for what is actually is in practice - an insane, intolerant, death-crazed cult.
Why did our government feel justified in laying siege to the Branch Davidian’s compound in Waco, but Islam gets an infinite pass regardless of an endless stream of hideous atrocities, openly committed in its name?
Can anyone name a “real” cult that behaves as badly as or worse than Islam?
