FORT HOOD, Texas – The base commander at Fort Hood says soldiers who witnessed a shooting rampage that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire at the Texas post.
Lt. Gen. Robert Cone told NBC's "Today" show on Friday that suspected shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, made the comment, which is Arabic for "God is great!" before the rampage Thursday that also left 30 people wounded.

Believe it or not, the headline in my local paper was “Psychiatrist Attacks Texas Army Base.”
Aside from evoking a truly comical image completely at variance with the facts, the article then went on to sympathetically describe him as just misunderstood and unhappy and at the very end suggested that he might have felt misunderstood as a Muslim.
It makes me sick to read this garbage.
This was an Islamic terrorist attack. They can try to spin it all they want. These people were deliberately murdered in the dark name of Allah.
Right now, this "Religion of Peace" is trying to legally silence anyone from speaking "blasphemy" against their God of Murder.
I hope Fort Leavenworth has a pig farm, and this creep gets a life sentence of hog husbandry.
I had no doubt he said “allah akbar” because they always do. I am surprised, however, that the MSM reported it.
That's exactly what this was. The media and the "experts" can spin it any way they like. We called it here. I just heard a report that they have a picture of him at a convenience store dressed in traditional muslim garb. He was on mission all right.
I had to mute it after awhile.

I do have to say to the person who thought Whorealdo was sympathetic to the terrorist when he suggested to let Texas have him instead of a military trial. That only meant one thing. Whorealdo knows that Texas would convict, give him the death penalty and , most importantly, carry it out.
You betcha! If they had questioned him before this, he probably would have sued for religious discrimination and won the case. They would have awarded him millions of dollars that he would have sent to his jihad buddies.

Yes. The Dallas Morning News mentions that he is 1) in the army; 2) an officer; 3) a psychiatrist. All of these are irrelevant to his motives. He is first and foremost a Muslim. That is why he murdered. It is the ONLY relevant fact.
The morning news also has a section whereby local Muslims are asking for civility on behalf of us dirty mean Christians.

I really think that his wife should take him to a neurologist; he’s always been “out there” - but nowadays I believe he is exhibiting signs of incipient dementia. Seriously, I think he needs a neurological workup. NOW.

I imagine we will hear later in the day that the General was mistaken and that the perp was actually yelling, “All of you in that car!” Or that he wasn’t yelling anything. The gunfire noise was mistaken for Arabic words, something that frequently happens in the fog or war.

If only they would demand the same civility of their fellow Muslims when someone draws a cartoon that some imam doesn’t like.
I’ve been reading so many thread on this, but someone on another thread brought up a great point. He may have acted “alone” but are they going to be going to the mosque he attended? A suicide bomber acts alone too but he has encouragement.
