Who holds that “prevailing thought”?
So what you are saying is that only Calvinists are Christian. How about you let God decide at our final judgment and make the determination based upon His greatest Commandments to love God with all of your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. You need to approach Christ as a Child, not a lawyer. If you lived the Beatitudes and were completely unaware of any of Calvin's Five Points you would enter the Kingdom of Heaven as promised.

I think your skin is too thin for the News / Activism Forum. What was posted by DogBarkTree was actually pretty mild.
There is a Protestant culture that was founded on a vilification of Rome and all things Catholic, including Catholics. One need only look at the historic treatment of Catholics at the hands of the "Reformers" and their followers. From the religious wars and Protestant Inquisition (yes there was one) to the religious conquest of Scotland and Ireland by Cromwell. When a sect has practiced or preached that being a Roman Catholic was deserving of the death penalty in the name of Sweet Baby Jesus it will have effects for generations.

I’m not thin-skinned. I think it’s simply over the top for someone on FR to accuse Christians of engaging in bestiality.
