Scozzafava Endorses Democrat After Dropping Out of N.Y. Congressional Race

Republican Dede Scozzafava endorsed her former Democratic opponent Sunday in the race for an upstate New York congressional seat, one day after Scozzafava dropped out of the contest.
Scozzafava dropped out after Conservative Party candidate Dough Hoffman experienced a late-in-the-game surge. But on Sunday, Scozzafava backed Democrat Bill Owens -- the announcement was made in a statement send out by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
"I am supporting Bill Owens for Congress and urge you to do the same," she said. "In Bill Owens, I see a sense of duty and integrity that will guide him beyond political partisanship. He will be an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York. Bill understands this district and its people, and when he represents us in Congress he will put our interests first."

Wish I could vote because I sure want to send a message not only to Obama and the DemocRATS, but to the RINOs.

Wow! Liberal weasel endorses liberal weasel. Amazingly, it appears RINOs only care about their OWN career and are not "with us when it counts". Shocker! And by sheer coincidence, all the other big name RINOs running for Congress in recent years -- Marge Roukema, Wayne Gilchrest, Joe Schwarz, etc., ALSO endorsed the Democrat out of spite when they realized one of those mean ol' right-wingers had the best chance of beating the Dem. Funny how RINOs lecture everyone else about the "big tent" but refuse to be a part of it if their people aren't nominated.
I'd bet real money that "Republican" Mark Kirk will endorse Chicago machine Democrat Alexi Giannoulias for the Senate if Marky loses the primary to Eric Wallace in an upset. The odds of Kirk loses the primary are pretty slim, but the question of who he'll "endorse" IF he loses are pretty clear. RINOs deliver for no one but the left.

TV happened to be left on this morning tuned to ABC.
On "This Week with George Stephanopoulos", the roundtable discussion was called "Civil War within the GOP". This business with Hoffman and Scozzafava may be the first shots fired.

It’s definitely a ONE party system! The CONSERVATIVE party needs to step up and create a true 2 part system. We will never be able to fight Socialism/communism in our country til we do! And as far as Dede goes......Who knew? LOL She was a plant all along! Just like Barkin Sphincter!
To: Enterprise
Newt definitely hangs around the wrong crowd. He might as well declare himself a Democrat.
Whatever gave you that idea?

I pledged to send her a dozen Krispy Kremes if she dropped out. Well, I am breaking my pledge now. She doesn’t need them from me anyway. I bet tons of them are being delivered as I write compliments of the DNC. Oh, yeah. Dede has integrity all right.
A stealth Democrat tried to steal the seat. Some fools like Mojave bought it all the way.

Wouldn.t have to switch sides, She and 2/3 or more of GOP politicians are dems/libs disguised ad Republicans. Actually, They’re libertarians that would rather see this country fail if the don’t get their way with perversion and other social issues. They will not side with the Christian social conservatives for any reason, they’ll jump ship and join the rat party first.

If this district is indeed Republican leaning, I see this as helpiing rather than hurting Hoffman.

Interesting isn’t it. Conservatives are supposed to hold their noses and vote for RINOs like Maverick McCain, but there is no such reciprocity by RINOs. It shows how the so called moderate wing of the GOP prefers to just use conservatives.

The people that should be pissed are the voters. They are the ones Scozzafava tried to bamboozle.
