Brain Secretions and Gravity (DARWIN HIMSELF EXEMPLIFIES THE MADNESS THAT IS DARWINISM)
Uncommon Descent ^ | October 29, 2009 | Gil Dodgen

Why is thought, being a secretion of the brain, more wonderful than gravity, a property of matter? It is our arrogance, it is our admiration of ourselves…

— Charles Darwin, age 29, in his notebook

This is an incredible comment. It is difficult to understand how anyone with a brain could not observe that thought produces such things as symphonies, literature and mathematics, while gravity just makes things fall down and holds planets in their orbits.

Furthermore, thought does not secrete like insulin from a pancreas, it is willed (at least that’s what I do, and I assume others do as well).

Darwin was far more simpleminded, naive, and superficial in his thinking than I realized. I already knew that he was simpleminded, naive, and superficial in his thinking when he ignored the obvious evidence of design in nature, in favor of his “random variation and natural selection can turn microscopic bugs into Mozart, given enough time” thesis.

How this patently absurd idea could have completely taken over the intellectual elite is still a mystery to me, when all the evidence of modern science contradicts it. The only conclusion I can reach is that they are desperately trying to deny the obvious, because they hate the light.

"I am not trying to convince you, I don't care that you will wander through the rest of your life in ignorance."

Neither am I trying to convince you. If you want to wander through the rest of your life in ignorance, be my guest.

"You are certainly not going to convince me."

Of course not. That has never been my goal.

"What ever the genus canis might be it certainly isn't a Baramin. That ain't a word and that dog don't hunt."

Never said the whole genus was a baramin. You must misrepresent the issue in order to criticize it and that dog won't hunt either.

"Darwin merely used Hegelian dialectic to synthesize the incompatible pagan beliefs of spontaneous generation of life"I don;t know if you understand what you are asserting, Hegel was an interesting study, but a study of Professor Darwin's works clearly shows that he did not set out to collect information support the preconceived Pagan beliefs and also shows that he never assigned credit for the initial generation or spark of life to anyone other than God. Now go away and don't come back until you have an original thought.

The idea of spontaneous generation of life was an ancient pagan idea that was disappearing as the evidence supporting the Law of Biogenesis generally attributed to Pasteur accumulated. People no longer believed that carcasses generated maggots or garbage dumps generated rats. Darwin merely synthesized the thesis of spontaneous generation of complex life with the antithesis of creation of baramin by God at the level of a 'simple form' from which he asserted that all other forms were spontaneously generated. This is a classic Hegelian technique whether Darwin documented it or not.

Are you effing kidding me? How can you keep a straight face? That is perhaps the most contrived post I have ever read. Surely you are cutting and pasting that from some seriously deficient source attempting to sound educated. It might work with your Bible Study group, but it won't work with anyone who has even had a freshman Biology class. Seriously, please don't come back even if you have an original thought. You make my head hurt.

Wow. Amazing nonsensical 'rebuttal'. Completely content-free and such a simple attempt at assigning false premise. Did you think that up all by yourself or were you coached by your fellow believers? Hard to tell.

It's obvious that the idea of spontaneous generation of life was an ancient pagan idea that was disappearing as the evidence supporting the Law of Biogenesis generally attributed to Pasteur accumulated during Darwin's day.

Seriously, please don't reply even if you did generate your nonsense all by yourself.
