"Darwin merely used Hegelian dialectic to synthesize the incompatible pagan beliefs of spontaneous generation of life"I don;t know if you understand what you are asserting, Hegel was an interesting study, but a study of Professor Darwin's works clearly shows that he did not set out to collect information support the preconceived Pagan beliefs and also shows that he never assigned credit for the initial generation or spark of life to anyone other than God. Now go away and don't come back until you have an original thought.

The idea of spontaneous generation of life was an ancient pagan idea that was disappearing as the evidence supporting the Law of Biogenesis generally attributed to Pasteur accumulated. People no longer believed that carcasses generated maggots or garbage dumps generated rats. Darwin merely synthesized the thesis of spontaneous generation of complex life with the antithesis of creation of baramin by God at the level of a 'simple form' from which he asserted that all other forms were spontaneously generated. This is a classic Hegelian technique whether Darwin documented it or not.
