On last night's O'Reilly Factor (Oct 27, 2009), Bill O'Reilly sat stupidly while Lis Wiehl made several conspicuously false statements regarding the facts related to Obama's birth documentation. Referring to the "birthers", Ms. Wiehl stated that "It's this whole movement that says that Obama was elected from a bad, unconstitutional point of view because he was not born in the United States. That's been litigated. Congress investigated. His birth document from Hawaii was shown."
First, regarding "That's been litigated" this case has never actually been heard in open court (because the plaintiffs have been denied standing).
Second, regarding "Congress investigated." Does anyone know to what she is referring? Or as that a total fabrication? Does she really think that Barney Frank and Harry Reid have "investigated" this?
Third, regarding "His birth document from Hawaii was shown", Ms. Wiehl fails to mention that what has been shown is purported to be a bona fide copy of Mr. Obama's birth documentation. Furthermore, the validity of that copy is disputed for a number of reasons. (And they never mention the fact that Hawaii issues two types of birth documentation, and that there is an interesting dispute as to which type of birth documentation Mr. Obama has.)
Fox News continues to ridicule people who believe that Mr. Obama's birth records -- that are actually on file in Hawaii -- should be made available to independent document experts for inspection and validation.
My question: are they afraid of this story, or do they simply not understand it at all? I do not believe that Fox is part of a conspiracy or a deliberate cover up. Stupid? Yes. Nefarious? No.
He has never....THAT"S NEVER ....voted for ANY Republican Candidate, or even recommended one. Ask him.
He is on TV as a sop to "Blue Collar Catholic Democrats," to keep them voting for the big government abortionists. It's cynical niche marketing and it worked.
BOR is sort of a street version of the pansy wet-leg Democrat, Chris Matthews, a dumber version of that other hardened Democrat, the late Tim Russert. Why freepers waste their time with him ... and others I could name ... is beyond me.
O proved beyond a doubt last night he is a liberal.
The sad part is while the left has started a campaign to discredit the BC issue no conservatives on the air will say one stinking word.
They are all cowards.

Lis Wiehl: cute, but a fat and stupid liberal (but I repeat myself).
(Thanks, Fractal Trader.)
“Had Roberts joined Alito, Scalia, and Thomas, this would have been heard before the election, when Donofrio’s case made it up to conference.”
Donofrio’s case was for a Stay of the election. They didn’t dismiss the issue behind the request. It was a long shot and Leo knew it. They refused to hear a stay of the election.
“It also took Donofrio to bring the Hawaiian authorities to heel. They have been illegally stonewalling requests for information; information they are required to make public ... to anyone .... under Hawaiian Law. Hawaiian statutes are quite clear ... Obama has no right to privacy in the issue, He waived it with the COLB release.”
This one I agree with completely. I have my own Requests in to DoH and its one hard to duck. They have until Nov. 4 to respond. So far, silence, though they have responded to earlier requests.
If they ignore this request, then they are going to have some issues with the Judiciary in Hawaii, because that is comin down the pike.
She should stick to the Lacey Peterson-type stories
Ping, and many “new” posters!!!
I suspect they ‘have something’ on BOR. He suddenly got meek as a lamb and very compliant with the program.
I don’t fault him, I rather doubt there is anyone in the public eye who doesn’t have some secret that can be used against them.
They found his. Poor bastard.

You give him credit for more ideological underpinnings than I ever could.
I see him as a cynical money-grubber and nothing more.
It took him a while to really get going in the TV business and once he finally made it he was going to play it for all it was worth. Now at 60 he’s just trying to feather his nest for the “golden years’ and his kids, if he has any.
That’s another funny thing about him. Has anybody ever seen Mrs. O’Reilly? Anybody know anything about any kids? I find that odd when compared to the other people on Fox.
You are correct. However, Donofrio's case was actually "shuffled" by the Clerk of the SCOTUS. This would have been the perfect time to hear the case. This is exactly where the eligibility trolley came off the tracks.
Do we live in "interesting times," as the old Chinese Curse went, or what?
I agree.
O’Reilly, who pounded two hapless Democrats earlier in the program on Obama’s dithering over ordering more troops for Afghanistan, wants to create the impression that his program is an “Obama Safe Zone” on the BC issue, as if that would increase his chance for another interview.
But maybe O’Reilly is just trying to make his program emotionally “safe” for the large part of his audience that are independents and even Democrats and who can be reached and reasoned with and gently brought more over to the “right side” of his issues, but would be unable to emotionally cope with the potentially devastating implications of the BC issue.
She is redundant, like your post. lol
Something breaks out of Hawaii....
Can’t help it...
Free the Long Form.
It appears BOR is in the tank, or in bed with Obama. Now with the leftist news orgs attacking the BC iisue will the right respond?
Lis is cute but dumb. One thing I notice about her is how much she nods her head during conversations, its kinda distracting.
Rev. Manning has a video on the birth certificate where he mentioned FoxNews, O’Reilly, Beck, Rush, etc. for not investigating it.
they are AFRAID...they have been warned (or threatened Chicago style!).
