Rush's enemies in the leftist media have come up with a clever but very shameless way to smear him.
When he was bidding for the NFL team, the media came up with such outrageously shocking but blatantly false quotes allegedly made by Rush, that his NFL partners were forced to reject Rush's participation in the deal. The media knew fully well that the quotes were false. Can anybody sane make a claim that Rush made a statement supporting slavery?
Having sabotaged Rush's business deal, CNN and the media are now admitting what they already knew, that the so-called quotes were false.
What if Rush decides to sue? If the case comes to trial, they will simply dig up hundreds of other quotes that Rush may have made in a satirical tone, and use those quotes to smear Rush as a racist.
Even if Rush can show that the intitial quotes in the media amount to libel, they are capable of digging up so much dirt on Rush, that Rush will appear as a man without any reputation worth defending, even if he was genuinely libelled.
He must sue the source of the material published in Wiki.
The liberals have turned politics into a personal blood sport. Their visceral hatred of anything they disagree with is frightening.
Mark Steyn pointed out that CNN networks are show in places like the UK where the Sullivan v. NY Times standard does not hold. Limbaugh might get a major bit of cash from CNN if he sued them there and around the world.
It’s not that he doesn’t have a good case, it’s that they won’t let him win the case no matter how good it is.
Did CNN air it in England? They have some tough defamation laws.
I would love to see Rush sue Jesse Jackson.
a clear case of defamation of character.. sue the bejeesus out of those responsible.
I’d like to see Rush take them (anyone) for millions, and then give that money to Sarah Palin.
Does the sun rise in the east?

I think he should get, for free of course, an hour for each word in the sentences of slander to use on cnn radio or tv when he wishes.
John
Which turns out to be a sh*t-eating jockstrap-sniffing New York law firm (surprise).
I think he should go after the small fries and work his way up. That way the winnings can fund the next law suit. They all need to be spanked hard.
If he doesn’t take action to stop the lies (suit or whatever else), they will keep it up. He has already predicted that they will next go after his announced judgeship for the Miss America contest. After that what else is he involved in or wants to be involved in? The left just keeps coming.
.
They would have to prove there was no malice! Good luck with that!
I would choose my target(s)carefully and go for it.
He could sue. He might win. But it’s not his style he’ll just turn it into a teachable moment.
Yes, he should sue every last one of them. At the very least, it will force a discovery process and the public can finally see the close ties between the MSM and the White House.
ok, let’s not make this a, “I’d like to see”, “gee that’d be swell”, kind of discussion...we’re supposed to be smart folks here...
Any lawyers who care to opine?
I’d really like to see what the cost analysis is, that is, what kinda time it would take on Rush’s part and would he need to make court appearances, etc.?
What he did today is great, that is, until you realize the media listens to it, but the media’s stupid lemmings don’t listen to Rush and are still brainwashed. Winning a lawsuit would get their attention.
Name please?
