President Barack Obama has been named the 2009 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and winner of baseball's National and American League Cy Young Awards.

The nominations deadline occurred less than two weeks after Obama was inaugurated! He merited the Nobel Prize for serving eleven days. Please tell me what he did during that time frame?

Just WTF has Obummer done to deserve winning the Nobel peace prize? Short answer: Absolutely nothing. But then the Nobel Peace Prize does not mean much since they gave it to Jimmy Carter and Arafat. The Nobel Peace Prize has become a worldwide laughingstock and a very very sick joke on the scale of DR. STRANGELOVE. Hey, maybe HE should win the next one or maybe Fidel Castro, or a posthumous award to Neville Chamberlain or better still Adolf Hitler or “Uncle Joe” Stalin or Che Guevara or Mao Tse Tung or Mussolini.

You guys joke but I can see merit in this “peace prize as encouragement” dealie. In fact, I need encouragement to get up the gumption to pay my taxes so I think I deserve a Peace Prize too.

I also heard he was inducted into the bowling hall of fame. Even though he sucked at bowling, the fact a man of such importance would even grace the bowling alley with his presence was enough to sway the committee members.
