I had a lot of problems with some of Bush’s policies including never vetoing a spending bill filled with “earmarks” and not aggressively enforcing the rules to eliminate illegal immigration, etc., but at least he did not try to deliberately ruin the whole country like Obama is attempting to do.

* Unfailingly defended Israel's right to defend itself;
* Appointed two conservative giants to the Supreme Court;
* Faithfully carried the pro-life banner (including holding firm on stem-cell research);
* Supported traditional marriage;
* Fought to reform the most sacrosanct of all entitlement programs (Social Security) and consistently did what he thought was right for the country in the face of withering and unrelenting criticism and opposition from international and domestic elites.
His foreign policy is insane. He can't make a decision.

Yeah, I have long been surprised by the BDS here. If some of these kids here were around during the Reagan years, they would know/remember not to hold Bush to the standard of some mythical conservative idyllic era.
As I have said on other threads, they would know/remember that Reagan signed the big tax increase in US history up to that time, signed an actually amnesty bill, cut and ran in the middle east after the US Marines were attacked and a large number killed in a suicide bomber attack and appointed the wobbly S.D. O’Connor to the US Supreme Ct.
I for one do not miss George Bush yet! Any one who does is a fool.
We have the President that we need for the times we are in.
God has put Obama here for a reason, you just need to figure out what that reason is and stand and join the fight.
Bush sucked and you know he did, look at all of his socialist spending and ideas he pushed into law and lets not forget his desire for amesty for illegal aliens.
