In the first half-hour of today's show, MSNBC Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough accused Fox News Channel and radio talk show host Glenn Beck of spreading hatred and whippping up raced-based assassination hysteria against Barack Obama, demanding Republicans renounce Beck.
Scarborough, a former conservative Republican congressman from Florida, attacked the libertarian Beck for spending the summer telling viewers there were FEMA detention camps being built and for saying that Obama hates "all white people."
Scarborough said the "hatred" Beck is spreading would make him responsible should Obama be assassinated. Though he didn't speak explicitly of Obama's assassination, it was clear what Scarborough meant.
Scarborough demanded that potential Republican presidential candidates denounce Beck, naming Mitt Romney in particular.
Someone needs ratings.
Where was this guy 4 years ago when Al Franken was doing the same thing?
BTW where is Al Franken these days?
Shut up Joe.
It sounds like Scarborough OD’ed on caffeine.
This is an outrage. I listen to Beck pretty often. He specifically and explicitly requests that no one engage in violence of any sort for fear of the consequences. Scarborough is the one spreading hate and fear.
Isn’t he the one that had a dead intern mysteriously turn up?
“Scarborough demanded that potential Republican presidential candidates denounce Beck, naming Mitt Romney in particular.”
So, he named Mitt (socialized medicine, I am not a conservative) Romney. We can see who the RATS want the GOP to nominate
Mornin’ Joe expressing professional jealousy? Joe the “conservative”? No, Joe the RINO!
Joe is just jealous that Beck is getting great ratings.
That’s crazy talk!
That was a disgusting display, especially from the channel of Olbermann, Madow, etc. etc. etc.
For those FReepers, like me, who watch Morning Joke to get a little exposure to the left side of things there is a new show starting Monday October 5 at 6AM EDT on Fox Business Channel.
It will star Don Imus, who is definitely controversial, but will provide IMO better guests, interviews and more useful political opinions (not his) than the NBC-style propaganda spew and anti-conservative “conservatives” that MSNBC provides.
Just FYI. Morning Choke is dead.
Where was this Scarborough guy when a woman was found dead in his district office?

Alinsky RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

Poor little Joe Scarborough. No one notices him anymore now that he’s been a total shill for the Left. Boo-hoo. Now he has to create hysteria to get noticed. This will be great for Beck’s ratings. What a doofus Joe is. He should rebrand himself from Morning Joe to Morning Sickness because he makes you want to throw up.
Alinsky after people wake up and understand what’s up. Now we can Alinsky them right back. It’s now time to totally destroy Joe Scarborough.
Scarborough is now officially on my no-watch list.
Agreed, Glenn Beck has often...several times daily during his radio broadcasts, guided listeners away from violence. He doesn’t or isn’t just telling people to not be violent, but to turn people in if you know of someone planning violence.
Beck then gives his listeners alternatives. Like asking reasonable questions of our government and demanding answers. When those answers are not forthcoming we go and research it ourselves, we know the truth because we sought the truth. This leaves the government and the fringe media at a distinct disadvantage, they can’t spin the facts anymore.
