Kudos to Jon Stewart, who doesnt sugar-coat the embarrassment at all to the apparent delight of his audience, who get kudos of their own. How can the national news media ignore the many allegations of corruption at ACORN, which gets millions of dollars in federal funding, and allow a couple of independents with $3,000 and a bad wardrobe scoop them on the undercover story of the year? Its easy when newsrooms are more concerned with political direction than truth. Stick around to the end, when Stewart zings Michelle Malkin haters:

Charles Gibson had not heard of the Acorn story, much less reported on it.
>>I have to admit, I am surprised that a major lefty like Jon Stewart would talk about this without making apologies for everyone.<<
I think Stewart has figured out where the next comedy gold mine is located. So far, he’s just in the ACORN vein and is already finding 24 carat material. The OBAMA vein is a lot bigger, but he’s got to get a little more equipment to mine it...extra hard hats, hazmet suit, bigger legal team, sufficient self-defense weapons, etc., but once those are in place he should be ready to go. And when the others see the response to him the 2010 Comedy Gold Rush will be on.
This could be a really, really, really big deal. As Alinsky said, ridicule is a potent weapon, and we all know there’s plenty about this administration deserving of ridicule. (Maybe Jon watched the 9/12 march on DC and said to himself, “Hmmm....that’s one hell of a lot of people...”)
Thanks for the ping. This is hillarious!
Definately nice job by Stewart
And there is no administration previous that would react in a worse way TO ridicule, not even Clinton.
Clinton was a sociopath with narcissistic tendencies.
0bama is a fullblown narcissist.
Not new. 6 years here. I just have never seen it.
You could have just said 'thanks'.
I think there is actually hope for John.
Oops, Jon.
stewart is still a giant douche bag. even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.
How do we nominate these two for Pulitzers? they desrve it and the old-stream media’s heads would E*X*P*L*O*D*E.
I’ve been here the same length of time and I must have seen ten thousand variations of the same basic line.
Just sayin’.
“It’s a nut AND a seed.”
LOL
You KNOW the MSM has dropped the ball when they get called out by John Stewart, who is somewhere between Trotsky and Lenin on the political spectrum.
ACORN = Another Communist-Overrun Rats-Nest
ACORN = Angry Conspirators Obviously Really Nuts
ACORN = A Creepy Organization, Righteously Neutered
ACORN = Are Chief Obama's Radical Nitwits
Does John believe ACORN helped steal the election? I think it`s safe to say NO!!!
I am not saying they did steal the election, but they might have?
Jon Stewart really surprised me with this performance.
I’m shocked but very pleased. I turned him off years ago after less than 10 minutes of watching. Should I give him another chance or was this just a rare moment?
Charles Gibson had not heard of the Acorn story, much less reported on it.
There might be much truth in that, but after all my sleepless night since this man took office, I now see a ray of light.
Light we might never have seen under President McCain. Because of all that is being exposed perhaps this country will once again turn away from so much liberalism (evil) and regain its standing in the world. I don’t think we have been much of anything since Reagan, but there might be hope on the way.
