Kudos to Jon Stewart, who doesnt sugar-coat the embarrassment at all to the apparent delight of his audience, who get kudos of their own. How can the national news media ignore the many allegations of corruption at ACORN, which gets millions of dollars in federal funding, and allow a couple of independents with $3,000 and a bad wardrobe scoop them on the undercover story of the year? Its easy when newsrooms are more concerned with political direction than truth. Stick around to the end, when Stewart zings Michelle Malkin haters:

I think the reasons it is taking so long for MSM to event report one word on this includes: 1. being scooped, 2. getting something of a believable lie as to why it had not been covered, and best answer 3. covering for Obama.
+++++
Probably a little of all three

ACORN CEO announcing no new applications, inservice training, independent auditor....The ACORN CEO should not be allowed to choose the auditor. But it doesn't matter, this bunch should be defunded of all taxpayer dollars immediately. These steps are nothing more than an effort to take the heat off. They will continue their law-breaking ways because that is who they are.

What does it say when John Stewart covers a story before Katie, Brian, and Charlie?

My son-in-law doesn’t believe it if Stewart doesn’t have it...I posted this on Facebook where he’ll be sure to see it! He voted for Obama, but has since changed his mind.

If it had been useful to damage Republicans, it would be 24/7 coverage as such previous scandals were reported. As it implicates Democrats alone, it will continue to be ignored.
What needs to happen is Republicans need to mention it during their television appearances, and during their campaigns.

If Jon is on it, the tired old media will get on it too. He calls them out great.

You must be new. “Rearrange the deck chair” lines are plentiful on FR, especially when it comes to the media.

In 6 minutes, he captured the whole thing...Yep, very well done. I'll send this to my non news-hound friends instead.
I have to admit, I am surprised that a major lefty like Jon Stewart would talk about this without making apologies for everyone.

GOP needs to publicly turn up the heat on Eric Holder to demand a full-scale investigation by the United States Justice Dept. He will only be shamed into investigating when the public demands it.

Well, it’s good to know that there is something the left can do that Jon doesn’t approve of.
