A team of taxpayer-supported lawyers arguing on behalf of President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office say not even the U.S. Supreme Court has any input into the question at this point, and such cases should be barred from the courts.
"The Constitution's commitment to the Electoral College of the responsibility to select the president includes the authority to decide whether a presidential candidate is qualified for office," said a brief filed by government lawyers in a California lawsuit over Obama's eligibility under the Constitution's demand for a "natural born citizen" in the White House.
That's because, the brief states, "the examination of a candidate's qualifications is an integral component of the electors' decision-making process. The Constitution also provides that, after the Electoral College has voted, further review of a presidential candidate's eligibility for office, to the extent such review is required, rests with Congress."
The lawsuit has been brought on behalf of a number of plaintiffs alleging that Obama is not constitutionally eligible for office. The case, being handled by attorney Orly Taitz, who now has been joined by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, has a tentative trial date of Jan. 26, 2010.
Before then, however, U.S. District Judge David Carter is scheduled to hear the government's demand that the case be thrown out.
The arguments submitted by acting U.S. Attorney George S. Cardona and assistant U.S. Attorneys Leon Weidman, Roger E. West and David A. DeJute, say the Constitution further specifies if no candidate gets a majority of the electoral votes, the House of Representatives has the authority to select the president, "and, in so doing, to evaluate the candidates' qualifications."

This person would have held himself up as being eligible ( when he was not) and willingly taken million upon millions of dollars from trusting Americans. Isn’t that a crime?
These descriptions of the responsibility(ies) of the electors don’t square with what the government attorneys are claiming.
“The electors have only one responsibility: to select the president and vice president. Each presidential candidate has a slate of electors assigned to that candidate. When the candidate wins the popular vote in a state or the District of Columbia, the electors assigned to that candidate are the ones who vote in the electoral college. To do so, they meet in their respective states or the District of Columbia about five weeks after the November presidential election to cast their votes. Normally, the meeting is a mere formality. The electors vote for the presidential candidate who received the greatest number of votes in their state. The electoral college simply ratifies the results of the popular vote. “

Both military and DOJ attorneys have been involved with Obama’s defense. How can this be ethical? Why haven't these lawyers been reported to their bar?
I would think an ethical government attorney would have said, “Mr. Obama provide the documents needed to prove you are a natural born citizen. Stop wasting my time and the money of the American people.”
If Obama can not prove he is a natural born citizen, then the attorneys are in essence:
1) complicit in the crime of treason
2) complicit in the crime of defrauding millions of Americans out of millions of dollars.
So?...Why would any ethical attorney cooperate with this?
BO claimed in January he was a native citizen. BO, Pelosi, Reid, Dean etc. have committed ELECTION FRAUD...

I hope everyone understands the gravity of this. Some pretty boys and girls with law degrees have just stated that it doesn’t matter if Obama is eligible or not, he’s in and they think there’s not a GD thing we can do about it.
Don’t kid yourself...the USSC can throw the punk out of office...no impeachment necessary....you impeach a legal president he is an usurper...US Marshalls will arrest him...wonder how hard that is to understand...only a legal president goes through an impeachment process...

While he is a Clinton appointee, he's not on the 9th Circus, but on a Court below it, the District Court for the Central District of California.
