These people are really starting to scare me.

It is pretty freakin' unbelievable that zero doing a mulligan for his wednesday night speech gets more media attention than half a million taxpayers vociferously protesting out of control spending. I'd like to know who is making these decisions, editors, producers, or whoever signs their paychecks. It's a sad state of affairs when our best political reporting comes to us from a Canadian newspaper. There used to be, and probably still are, some pretty good minds in the forth estate, and I wonder where their curiosity got off to. I know that most newspeople are lazy, spoiled, overindulged, opinionated teenagers mascarading as adults, but if they don't watch out they're going to get fired. And I don't mean pink slip, downsized fired, I mean, lower the boom, pushed off a cliff fired to where your name is reviled and no one will ever listen to you again. OHHHH... RIGHT...IT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. GOOD!

"Not enough sleep!"

I have whole weeks like that. Anyway, you're not the first person to mention that parts of the Dark Side were actually broadcasting coverage. Ideology is one thing, but ratings and ad money are what the media world turns on.

Our leaders can authorize, approve, promote whatever bizarre program or policy their tiny minds can dream up because they are NEVER held accountable for anything.

Most egregious was insisting on mortgages for those who had no way to pay them which snowballed into the disaster we all know. And why not, they didn’t have to worry about the consequences because for them there never are any.

They’re on the take. Remember when Michael Corleone said they had people in the press?

They now has almost all of them.

"We passed an economic recovery bill with zero help from Republican colleagues," he said. "I think voters will see that and will ask themselves, 'Who was there to get the economy moving again, and who was standing in the way?'"

FOFLOL! I don't care, that's just funny. And it's always twice as funny when it comes from a man who OBVIOUSLY has no sense of humor whatever.

hello mapmaker77,
I am surprised some cub punk reporter has not jumped at the chance to take down this, magic negro”.
Woodward and Rernstien made a name for themselves taking down Nixon. And he wasn’t nearly as dirty as this P.O.S.

It’s high time we stop getting in a panty was over the dismal LSM. Let’s just blow pass them with new media and succeed without them—let them get lost in the dust where they belong! The schlep reporting of the LSM is leading them into oblivion on the slow route down. Bye...

Woodward and Bernstein, by different names, still walk among us.

At least Nixon was a natural-born American citizen, eligible for the office of the Presidency.

Yep. Ironically, it was the introduction of news syndicates in the early 20th Century and so-called "non-biased reporting" in TV news of the 1950s that made hidden bias part of news reporting in America. Prior to 1930 or so, there was no such thing as "unbiased journalism" in our country. Practically every city worthy of the name in the U.S. had two or more dailies (there were eight -- eight! -- dailies in New York as recently as 1940!), and each of these papers were for he most part officially "nonbiased" but actually quite openly biased. Since most city-dwelling people read several papers every day, it was possible for a person of that era to form informed opinions by weighing one set of biases against another. You read the Morning Democrat over coffee, the Evening Republican before your supper, and often the local Catholic, Yiddish, or German newspaper over a cigarette before you went to bed. By combining openly biased news from various sources, people of that day could piece together a fairly accurate picture of the situation at hand.

Today, however, the papers are almost all gone, and the bias in news reporting is skillfully hidden, leading TV viewers to believe that they're getting unbiased information. What they're actually getting is subtle but powerful audiovisual propaganda, carefully crafted by the Power Structure to program them for certain predetermined outcomes of opinion.

The best way to beat the programmers is to get rid of your TV and radio and get all your news from blogs and other openly-biased Web sources. By exposing yourself to openly biased reporting from all sides of an issue, you can synthesize a more-or-less accurate picture of What's Really Going On just as newspaper readers did in the days of Lippman and Winchell.

Don’t really need to ‘investigate’ how many shown up. It is right here in this chart:

Fortunately, the media can’t keep us out of the voting booth. By their lack of truth in coverage, they are just firing us up and making us more determined.

I feel confidence and inner strength knowing that when a call was to made to arise I will have neighbors and strangers united together alongside me after seeing the recent gathering of patriots.

I am in Wasilla, Alaska and saw first hand our own “little” Tea Party, and if any there are reading this I am the guy that was honking the air horn driving a concrete mixer with the red cab and also the Silverado Dually with all the strobe lights, I was not able to physically attend there at the lake saturday because I had to work and I am so proud to know I have friends around me with a common cause.

Thank You All!
