Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.

CNN just interviewed "people" who came to the march on their own; "not being told to by groups or organizations." Of what do they think groups and organizations are composed...cows, chickens, ducks, automatons, sheeple...? People make up organizations and these people in D.C. were not arm-twisted into going. Some people came singularly and some peoplecame in congregation with others of the same beliefs. They all came to be heard.

You know, ‘till ya’ll started talking about this I haven’t thought of it. I reluctantly got DirecTV last fall while recovering from back surgery. Before that, all we had were the local stations. I don’t think any set in the house has been on the locals since. There’s nothing to see anymore. Besides, I rarely sit long enough to watch it now that I’m all healed up (It took a second surgery in January, but they finally got me patched up!)
