Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.

I’m in the same boat - nearly in tears because my wife and I just can’t make it. Couldn’t afford the $90 bus fare from Pittsburgh.
Yet Obama took $1,200 from us in our taxes last April because we had to withdraw funds prematurely from our IRA. And he gave $11 MILLION to Microsoft so they could build a bridge over their highway.
No democrats or defenseless, cuddly baby seals were physically harmed in the conduct of this event.

I’m watching the live feed from the CNN camera. Apparently, it isn’t marked as “CNN”, so people are asking, “Where are you from?” When they hear it’s CNN, some are saying, “Thank you for covering this.” I think that’s great — that our guys are being polite and appreciative.

I can’t even remember when I last watched a network program well there was Lost, but i saw that on DVD.
Netflix is marvelous especially their foreign films, BBC etc

I’m in Missouri, no money until October 15th, in my third trimester with my fifth child. I REALLY wish I could have been there today but there was no way it was going to happen. Can’t afford gas, hotel and food for that many people, nor could I have made that long of a trip in my condition. Please know that there are tons of us that want to be there but just can’t.
