NOTHING political about Obama student speech, (well except the end) not his fault though.

Posted on 09/08/2009 9:47:06 AM PDT by steve0

Nothing political just praises the poop eater-Ghandhi, throws in the womanizer, communist-meeting-attender King and me me me. "Obama replied. "He's somebody I find a lot of inspiration in. He inspired Dr. (Martin Luther) King" with his message of nonviolence. "He ended up doing so much and changed the world just by the power of his ethics," Obama said of the inspirational leader Mahatma Ghandi. At another point, Obama told the students that "a lot of people are counting on me." /sarc on the nothing portion

praises the poop eater-Ghandhi

Just for the sake of accuracy: Ghandi drank his own urine, and was quite a vocal advocate of the practice. However, he did not eat his own poop.

I (and other cubicle bound Freepers) appreciate the Freeper perspective.
I’d call it breaking news.

OTOH - This is the “soften the blow speech”. Expect more talks to the kiddies to be politically charged.

Zippy tells his grungy followers that they must wash their hands frequently. Many complain... “It’s not Saturday.”

Tell me what part of it is not? Do you admit that Monday’s released speech contained no mention of King, Ghandi, or this “’During his meeting inside, one young person asked why the country doesn’t have universal health insurance. “I think we need it. I think we can do it,’” Or that he would exhort, “a lot of people are counting on me.” Me me me I i i i.

On Twitter, they are asking if the question on healthcare was a planted question. I would be willing to bet on that one.

I couldn’t watch. Did he use his “mind control-hypnosis” body language and phrasing?

“Obama replied. “He’s somebody I find a lot of inspiration in.”

If this is indeed an accurate quote from 0bama, then he needs to polish up on his grammar in front of schoolchildren. It should have read, “He’s somebody in which I find a lot of inspiration.”

He was head flipping from TOTUS to TOTUS at 20 per minute.
That’s an indicator he’s stressed.

In a low key situation it’s more like 10 per minute.

Since this was a totally staged situation where Baraq was in complete control, I’m thinking we’re starting to get to him.
Keep the pressure on!

Tell me what part of it is not?

What part of it IS? Was there any factual statement in the post or a bunch of hyperbole about crap-eaters and womanizers and such? I thought maybe there would be a reference to some part of the speech that turned political, but found no references or quotes to the actual speech.

WINNER you win. Like I said there was nothing political, at all, not one bit.

Would like him to speak to our schools once a month though. That I would tune in for every time.
