I’ve been thinking that Hillary is too quiet and has been plotting her revenge. I make a bet that she will force a primary against Zero in 2012 after resigning in feigned indignation as SOS.

I have trouble accepting reasonable and honorable behavior from a Clinton/Obama appointee at face value.

"Resigning would be an appropriate thing to do and he would deserve respect for doing it." Kind of reminds me of Les Aspin stepping down over Somalia...Even the tiniest shards of honor and integrity seem to stand out in the middle of a cesspool.

I hope Zero is having a quiet vacation. Leon is more of a man than I thought. Wonder how the state controled media will spin this?

"Now let's see Hillary resign, announce she's selling the house in Chappaqua and moving to Massachussetts, say that her mentor Daniel Moynihan got his start in JFK's administration and passed on his love of all things Massachusetts to her, and that she's going to run for Ted Kennedy's seat in the Senate." After all, she's been a Red Sox fan her whole life...

I would love for Leon to resign, walk to the mic and spill everything.

I will give him credit for not falling on his sword or taking one for the Obama team. This is a case of the CIA going to become a political slaughterhouse to make the left look good, and a director willing to take blame is a must. This doesn't help Obama.

Not so sure this is a good thing. Obama will appoint someone that won't have the agency's back. Guaranteed it will be someone who agrees with Obama and Holder.
Say what you will about Panetta, he at least seemed to care about the agency...and those that work for it.

Good I hope all of the Clinton people leave and start talking. Inc. her, Bama is a goob

lets see....didn’t a CIA director die in a canoeing accident?
Perhaps the safe place to be is out of sight and mind. There might be vindictive types around that can do you in. Better gone than dead

Resigning?
This is political double-speak BS.
Whenever a pol “reluctantly steps down” or “retires” or “leaves to spend more time with his family”....
It means his ass was “canned”, “fired” and/or “terminated”.
Buh-bye.

” —running to Obama’s right... “
That’s not a real high bar to hurdle — Fidel Castro could probably run to Obama’s right....
(There I go again - referring to Obama as if he were an individual... What I should say is ‘the corporate entity of thugs and weirdos that make up The Obama’.... Awkward to say and type, but more accurate...)

I thought Leon was a POS during the Clinton years. When a POS like Panetta resigns from Zer0’s ranks, it speaks volumes about just how bad he really must be.

I think it’s more a case of saving his own skin. He might have took it on the chin for the Slickster, but it doesn’t look like he’ll do it for Obama. Exactly how loyal are the Obamariods? I hope we see more of this.
