Additional documents uncovered by WND support a previous report that President Obama's parents did not live together as husband and wife at the Honolulu address listed in birth announcements in two local newspapers.
Both newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, carried the announcement that Barack Obama Jr. was born Aug. 4, 1961, to Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, residing at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Additional research has established that the grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, lived at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, not Barack Obama Sr. and Ann Dunham.
Moreover, Mr. and Mrs. Obama apparently did not live together after their marriage, with Dunham evidently remaining in the rented 6085 Kalanianaole Highway house.
Barack Obama Sr. lived alone at an 11th Avenue address in Honolulu, closer to the university. Dunham left Hawaii for Seattle in August 1961, the month of Barack Obama Jr.'s birth, to study at the University of Washington.
WND can find no listing in the Polk directories to document Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. ever living at the same address.

At most, Ann Dunham Obama and her son lived at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway only a few days, and there is no evidence Barack Obama Sr. ever lived there, despite the address having been listed in the Honolulu newspapers as the residence of the parents.
Very likely, the neighbor, Beatrice Arakaki, did not recall the Obama family because the primary residents were the grandparents, the Dunhams.
In a separate listing, Ann S. Obama, Obama's mother, is identified as a student living at the 6085 Kalanianaole Highway address...
As WND previously reported, a Honolulu title search documented 6085 Kalanianaole Highway was purchased in 1958 by Orland Scott Lefforge, a University of Hawaii professor, and his wife/companion Thelma Young, who remained owners into the 1970s.
The Polk Directory shows Lefforge and Young living at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway in 1963, not when they purchased the home in 1958.
I’m not tracking this. I thought the owners lived in the house.
comment #86 is a repost of a comment posted by Chief Engineer.
What is this Polk thing and why does it have listings for both Hawaii and Washington?
I don’t trust anyone in Hawaii that has been involved in any of this. Trying to make anyone believe they lost the records of one student makes you wonder what is being hidden.
He is a total fraud IMHO. In fact, I would love to know if he went to college as a foreign student because he could get scholarships and it was basically at no cost.
A fire at the NPRC in St. Louis on July 12, 1973, destroyed about 80 percent of the records for Army personnel discharged between November 1, 1912, and January 1, 1960. About 75 percent of the records for Air Force personnel with surnames from “Hubbard” through “Z” discharged between September 25, 1947, and January 1, 1964, were also destroyed.
That’s the one. We were unable to retrieve much for my father-in-law, who was discharged from the army in ‘51.
From Chief Engineer #86 “As I said I am still waiting to find out when he returned to teach at UH but it is definite he and Thelma and their three children were living at the birth announcement house in 1961.”
From WND: “The Polk Directory shows Lefforge and Young living at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway in 1963, not when they purchased the home in 1958.”

Good luck on that...
I'm an Aussie, I can't answer 'what is this Polk thing' - what I want to know is - why can't we see the full page?
If what was posted recently is true...his BC is not a legal document because Grandma had the BC made out WITHOUT either the mothers name nor the fathers name on it. So his BC from Hawaii is pretty much worthless.
I only have my Dad’s records because he had asked for his records in the 60’s when they were still available.
Apparently that was a wrong assumption based on the record of ownership.
Has anyone looked for any papers on his birth in Canada?
Polk city directories. since 1870. They are everywhere, or most places anyway. I imagine the HI and WA listings came from different books, each published in or near the area.

SEATTLE 1961/62 POLK.
I want to see phone bills for the house and the cottage for that time period.
I spent hours one day trying to explain to various people here that the record of title does not prove who lived in the house. Oh well!
