Dinosaur blood from a 65-million-year-old mosquito in amber used to clone live dinosaurs? It sounds like rather fanciful science fiction only fit for the movies, but claims reminiscent of Jurassic Park are becoming more common among scientists. Were not talking about being able to resurrect dinosaurs from mosquitoes. However, claims abound that soft tissue, DNA and even entire bacteria resurrected from a dormant state have survived for millions of years...

which era did Helen Thomas come from?
A good question. By all appearances Helen seems to have been subjected to quite advanced but otherwise alien stasis treatments several million years ago.
The Hellacian period was marked by awkward specimens of an assorted grotesque variety. Archaeologists and paleontologists tend to skirt around this era due to the unsavory bone structure and appearance of the examples of this period. Best to let the dead bury the dead on this one.

Bringing back ancient bacteria sounds like such a great idea! Almost as good as importing smallpox to the new world was. What could go wrong?
