Their M.O. is to pay people to dish dirt on their famous friends or relatives. Sort of the unethical “People” or “Us” magazine (which only do ‘puff’ pieces to maintain access to the people they write about).
The Enquirer broke the Jesse Jackson ‘love child’ story, as well as the Rush Limbaugh Oxycontin story, and the Edwards ‘father of the year’ story.
Imagine if the media hadn't covered for Edwards, we may not have gotten Obama.

True. Man, it’s sad....
Why am I not surprised? Ordinarily, I would feel sorry for his wife but she has proven to be a liar herself so she is getting what she deserves. If she would walk out on the jerk and speak the truth, I would at least have respect for her. Instead, she was eager to subject the US to a liar and meglamaniaic so she is getting what she deserves as far as I am concerned.

They could have just waited and seen if his first word was comb, then they would have had the proof they needed. Then again the kids probably sits for hours staring into a mirror already.
