Another day another mantra. Now it has to get done fast. We have also been told that we need to do it to save money, to stop those evil insurance companies, that a deadline was set so it would get done, that fifty million Americans are without insurance, that doctors are doing unecessary surgeries, that the blue pill is cheaper and more effective than the red pill. So many different sales pitches that it makes one's head spin. However, at bottom, it is a junk bill, laden with regulatiosn that will so befoul health care in this country that thousands of lives will be lost. REJECT IT IN IT'S ENTIRETY!!!!!
We did get rid of him - he’s a Democrat now. (Well, he was a Democrat before, but he claimed he was a Republican...)

All one really needs to know about Specter...is that as a junior attorney on the Warren Commission in 1964...when it became clear that Kennedy had been hit by bullets from at least two directions...Specter came up with the “single bullet theory”...LBJ loved him for it.
...his career has been greased ever since.
The senate was also supposed to be a body to preserve state’s rights against federal power, but we can see how that turned out.
This(audience showing extreme distain) needs to happen WAY more often with our elected leaders.
We really REALLY could use a complete overhaul of our elected officials though. That would solve a LOT of the problem. At least for a few years.
