Did anybody else hear "Kitty Cat" Sebelius demand that the crowd not shout at Spector, because the senate bill hadn't even been written yet? My response is, if it hasn't even been written, why the rush to pass an unwritten bill?

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.

Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that — (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).

A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.

The creeps want it to happen fast because they know that after the elections of 2010 it won’t happen at all. The absolute disdain for the American people by our legislators is so blatant and pervasive its mind boggling.

Yet, Specter replies to a questioner: he says they should take a look at the bill before they tell them what they think.

That's because Specter KNOWS Pelosi and Reid are keeping their versions of the bills from public scrutiny. Even most of Congress have NOT seen the contents of the versions.

Specter is trying the ole dipsy-doodle-side-step.

It is really sad how far this country has fallen from what the Founders bequeathed us. Specter is a Senator. He of all people should know that the Founders intended the Senate to be a deliberative body, as a check on the House, where things happen “fast”. To me, deliberative means to take your time, look at bills carefully, consider their consequences, both intended and not, read the fine print, consider all sides of an issue, and only when reasonably confident that you understand what you are voting on, take action. None of that says “quickly” to me, especially when you are talking about a new multi-trillion dollar entitlement program.

The anger there is unreal. You can watch that video and wonder how close they are to having someone actual storm them. Specter might have more security in the future.

I am sure this level of anger is happening across America and will get worse.

That Congress critter that admitted they don’t read the bills made a huge mistake.
