I would think so too...but I do not know!

HMom - I have Orly’s and I think it is the original one. Since I am not sure which numbers are which, I’ll give you what I see and tell you where it is on the doc:
1. Upper left of page: 7s. 6d.
2. Immediately to the left of #1 is: No (”o” is raised with an underline) 495
3. At top of the doc under the header (”Certified Copy of...”) is this: No. 47,044
4. On the same line as the No. 47,044 all the way to the right side of the doc is a four digit number which is quite hard to read but looks like “8738”
5. Down at the bottom right where the signature of the Deputy Registrar is (this is what you really want I believe) is this: Book 44B, Page 5733.
What else do you need from the Orly doc?

It is apparent that James O W AngAwa had the geographical opportunity to be the physician on the document, but have you thought about how he got involved in a birth there when he was actually there working with a vaccination program? Wouldn’t he be considered a visiting physician?
I can’t remember in what specific capacity his name appears - attending or delivering doctor or perhaps a handy MD who could sign it. I don’t have a copy of it so I have to go search back in the thread to find the one I remember was posted. Is it odd, given his role, that he would have signed it? Did he need some paying jobs maybe as he traveled around doing his vaccination thing?
CAN'T READ IT.
Read history of hospital at 9922...There were very few drs. multi tasked.
I messed around with the stamp, too and can’t read it. Will try a few other things.
I’d say he’s been vetted and can’t be ruled out as valid.
That’s it...There a place somewhere where the information in it is listed. We’ll run across it.

In a 2004 document (http://heller.brandeis.edu/sid/downloads/AfricaPB.pdf), this is the information for the Chief Administrator at that time.

Cross-referencing, I come up with the same info you did:

- The largest private Hospital in the Coast Province with 124 beds.
While going through some past threads on this subject, I came across this:
To: mojito
I looked at the other Bomford images in that directory, and they are consistent with a scanner session on 2007-06-05 when most of the images were apparently created (scanned at 150x150 dpi, if anyone is interested.)
