LOL! I think it was the other way around...he came to the US with BARACK and when he went back to Kenya he became BARAK.
However the captions with the photos of the party in Hawaii at post #0170 spell his name “Barak” and the friend remembers him as “Barak” so it would seem to me that whoever wrote the captions must have asked him his name and how to spell it and the friend also would have been told by Barak himself.
So if I’m a clerk, phoning the American embassy and the hospital person TELLS me his name is “BARek”, I write down B-a-r-a-C-k. Make sense....
And when the local clerk employed by the American Embassy sees the blank race, he fills in African. (I really don’t think there were too many countries where race was a blank)
Therefore, when HI fills out the COLB, the simply mimic the form wired to them by the American Embassy. IE: 1.Stanley Ann stop 2. Dunham stop 3....stop . etc etc
No, it won’t prove anything of the kind if the switch was made in between the time that the papers were laid out ready to be printed, and the time they actually went to print.

Based on this theory, what earthy reason would FMD have had to remove the Obama announcement and enter the Klondykes?

Where are you? I know where there are a couple of archive of the paper you might check....page by page.

huh?
I'm SUGGESTING the Nordyke announcement was already included in the lay-out of the paper ready to be printed.
The obama announcement was substituted in the same space. THE NORDYKE ANNOUNCEMENT HAS NOW DISAPPEARED. FOREVER!
Thank you, BP2
I know the name is Nordyke but I am hell bent on calling them Klondyke. I even have the Nordyke BC open in aother window. Maybe I want ice cream.....a Klondyke bar. :P
It’s signed “Barack” not “Barak” — who filled out the name, if he did not sign it?

Right and I’m saying don’t bet the farm on it. ;) IF someone has happened to locate or locates an genuine hard copy, old Hawaiian newspaper from that date, and the Nordyke’s is in the paper, Obama’s is NOT, then then someone messed with the microfiche with a deliberate intent to create fraud. Unless factcheck never got it from microfiche and they just made it up as a fake. But I think someone else saw the microfilm.

No, a physical copy of the paper! No archives, no microfiche. Only a physical paper that shows Nordyke and not Obama.;)BUSTED!
Where is the proof and I mean proof, that they knew each other, shared the same class, lived together, and were married.
Ive never seen those. Added to my files and thank you very much for posting them.
If this scenario is true, I'm envisioning camera-ready strips of layout sheets with blue lines, beeswax backing, a light table, and an Exacto knife.

factcheck never checked anything, they got their copy from texadarlin, it was sent to texasdarlin by someone who called herself LoriStarfelt, who wrote that she got it as a photocopy from Hawaii that she sent to texasdarlin by e-mail...and a little while later, another poster wrote to Atlas Shrugs sending them a similar photocopy that she got from the Hawaii library (she wrote) when she (infidel Granny) asked Hawaii for it, the woman at the counter said, ‘oh you can have this copy in my folder, another person asked for the same thing last week and I made a spare one...
or something like that.
It gives me a blinding headache just to think about it.
Factcheck ‘validated’ an ‘announcement’ received from an anonymous poster via e-mail...very impressive.
And if you or I could ever get close enough to the microfilm (very very doubtful) what would we find? The announcement substituted for the Nordyke announcement. Maybe factcheck knew all along it would be a waste of money sending anyone to the library because they already knew what was there...?

Heres a comment on Atlas Shrugs from Infidel Granny, reminding Pamela just where the birth announcement came from. It was a scan, e-mailed to her.
Pamela,
Infidel Granny here. I am the woman who sent you the birth announcement from the Honolulu Advertiser in July 2008. You gave me a hat tip on July 23, 2008.
I sure hope you dont think I had anything to do with a forgery.
The woman I spoke to at the Advertiser suggested I contact the Hawaii State Librbary for the info. Thats where I got it from just as it states in the blog on July 23. The librarian stated another woman had asked for the same thing about one week before I did.
You might still have my email and phone number. Feel free to contact me if you like.
Im putting this up here now because the link to Texasdarlin where Lori Starfelt explains how she came about her material (from the same source, by e-mail) has been removed.
Maybe factcheck didnt appreciate me drawing attention to that fact they validated an announcement that was an electronic image of a scan received by e-mail from an anonymous poster?

LOL! I spent some time in a newspaper office, this sort of thing shows my age.
