Those Christmas pictures were obviously at the airport, and they were obviously when Barry Jr. was 10 or so. There’s one of him with Sr. and one of Ann with Sr. Both pictures have the same background, and Sr. is wearing the same clothes. Circa 1971 or so, the trip Sr. is supposed to have made to Hawaii. Ann would be in her late 20s.
Books are revised when new editions come out. We really need first editions of each book. Is that possible or have they all been bought up?
It is so tempting to blame Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Obama for the destruction of America, but it is the enacting of the democrat party dream of social engineering which Barry is carrying out. Without the willing and worshipful cooperation of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, along with a n entire political party ensconced on the far left of the political spectrum, what Barry is doing to America would not be happening. Our first chance to right the Constitutional Republic ship comes in 2010. Vote the bastard incumbents out! THEN block the final destruction of this Republic and return it to a nation ruled by We The PEople through representatives who work for U.S. Currently, the democrtas view this nation as their fedual federal oligarchy and embrace running it via czars answering only to the head oligarch int he O void Office.
I was referring to the nude pictures of SADO.
Fred nerks would be the one to ask about pictures and stories on HI regarding SR.
Hoosiermama: Did you catch my post 9113? it is a retraction of the poster’s statement I quoted; See my post #9113 also for links to both Obama’s books, which are both fully searchable (bec link in my post you replied to still does not work).
Sorry if I confused. In my spare time (lol) I have to figure out how FR works (hypertext & how you ref info); many here are so highly organized. I send emails to myself but that is inadequate for an investigation as complicated as this one. In this case, it seems one needs to keep records on what Obama goes to great lengths to conceal or fictionalize as much as to document and source actual facts obtained.
Question in my mind is have the books been edited...and when? Will look at your request.
9113 is statement about any library will have it....???

This is the only story from the paper that I have seen about Mr. BaraK Obama in the Honolulu Advertiser that describes his life in and exit from Hawaii.

It is this article that describes how he pronounced his name. It also says that Ann pronounced it correctly too if we can believe what it says. It references two other articles about him. One is from when he arrived titled “Young Men from Kenya, Jordan and Iran Here to Study at U.H.” and the other that appeared the day he left Hawaii on June 22, 1962. Perhaps we can find those two but I’m not sure how to do it.
The article at the link is the one that tells us no one except Neil Ambercrombie remembers seeing him with Ann. It also relies quite heavily on passages from “Dreams” and at the end speculates on the idea of Ann going to Cambridge to meet “her husband” after visiting the friends in Seattle. Of course we know now that never happened and couldn’t have even been possible in 1961 because he wasn’t there.
DEEP POCKETS....Where are you?
We all should have invested years ago...We’d do better than the stock market.
You are right; for the record, the url I sourced for “Dreams” is the 2004 edition. Wiki says first edition 1995. I skimmed the preface & intro for revision comments & note the following:
” PREFACE TO THE 2004 EDITION
A LMOST A DECADE HAS passed since this book was first published. As I mention in the original introduction, the
opportunity to write the book came while I was in law school, the result of my election as the first African-American
president of the Harvard Law Review.”
“The exception is my mother, whom we lost, with a brutal swiftness, to cancer a few months after this book was
published.
She had spent the previous ten years doing what she loved. She traveled the world....
We saw each other frequently, our bond unbroken. During the writing of this book, she would read the drafts,
correcting stories that I had misunderstood, careful not to comment on my characterizations of her but quick to explain
or defend the less flattering aspects of my fathers character. She managed her illness with grace and good humor, and
she helped my sister and me push on with our lives, despite our dread, our denials, our sudden constrictions of the
heart. “
OTOH
A friend who is now deceased ran a used book store. There is a network they can belong to that locates used books. Everyone check out the used book store near you.
IIRC Fred Nerks has both articles. Fred is down under will be back this evening.
Was the name spelling changed to help hide documentation?
Note the spelling of Barak from a college buddy who knew him early on (Interesting how his name has changed, just like Ann changed her name to Anna in the early-60s after moving back to Seattle and then Soetoro to Sutoro in the 80s when moving back and forth between Indonesia and Hawaii ...) Remembering my friend Barak Obama
I met Barak, for the first time in the courses in economics that we took together at the University of Hawaii, in the early 1960s. It was not difficult to spot Barak, as he was a rare African student on the Campus at the University of Hawaii, in Manoa Valley, Honolulu.
His easy-going manner, especially his infectious smile, and his proud bearing struck me the most. He was always very inquisitive and active in class discussions and after classes as well.
Although he was not an East-West Center grantee, he was always with us, especially at a Guest House owned and operated by the Asia foundation, situated on the top of road leading to Manoa valley. Atherton House was a place where most East-West Center grantees gathered for a drink or a chat.
Barak and I were a part of a small group of foreign students who participated in group discussions in various places (Churches, sinagogues, junior colleges) around the campus and in town. Those discussions centered on the role and impact of former Soviet Union and China had in the developing countries. Barak, was more hopeful than I was about the role and the influence of these two major Communist countries in the developing nations in the world, because I had the opportunity to study in Europe, and in France, especially, I was more aware of the nature of communism than Barak was.
In these debates, Barak was always very eloquent, and enthusiastic. We often were not on the same side, when discussing Communism in the developing countries. In our disagreement, Barak was always very gracious and fair. He was a very good listener which helped a great deal in making those discussions more constructive and pleasant
Finally, by chance when I was a staff member of the IMF, one day, a colleague of mine who led an IMF mission to Kenya in the early 1980's, told me that he had met a government official named Barak Obama who said he was a classmate of mine in Hawaii. I knew it was the same Barak who was my classmate at the University of Hawaii. Needless to say that I was very happy to finally be able to be in contact again with Barak, after more than ten year of silence. My IMF colleague had given me Baraks telephone number and I immediately called him in Nairobi. We had a long conversation and we were able to talk to each other a few more times until one day, when I called him and his secretary told me over the phone that he had passed away of an accident. I was shocked and sad to hear the bad news. That was the time I had talked to Barak, in the early 1980s.
Barak was indeed a very special human being, with a lot of dignity and character. He was a very engaging, gracious, warm, and smart person. That is how I remember my friend Barak Obama.
