Did you have to go to Chicago for and entrance interview at UC? I was admitted there and I never went for an interview. Of course my parents wouldn’t hear of me going to Chicago for anything, but I know I never went for an interview. I was admitted to lots of colleges in my day, and I never interviewed with any of them. I just showed up at UC Berkeley with money in hand and signed up for classes. The same was true of my children 20 years later when they went to college. Only the oldest had to have an interview at Rice and an audition at University of Texas for the Voice Department, but that was different. After admission, 2 of them went for orientation, but that was different.

Sometime between 1927 and 1948, Frank Marshall Davis was recruited as a special agent or informer for the FBI—Federal Bureau of Inquisition....As a newspaperman, Davis had the perfect opportunity to know what was happening in Chicago. As a left wing or “Communist” sympathizer, no one would suspect him of association with the ultra right wing FBI.
As an additional cover-up, the FBI was extremely segregated and did not publicly admit black agents until the administration of President Kennedy.

Don't know. There is no evidence one way or the other. Her uncle lived in Chicago, and there is speculation on the Long Thread, that she might have stayed with him during time of the interview, and perhaps met MX on that visit.

There are many holes in the marriage story starting with the fact that under Hawaii law any female under 18 must have the written consent of BOTH parents -- and the Obama story states that Ann and Obama Sr. ran off without the consent of the family.
I don't understand the importance of this bit of info unless it is to say that Stanley Ann couldn't have gotten married when she first got got pregnant because she was too young to marry without her parents' consent. She didn't turn 18 until November 29 1960. (DOB: 11-29-42) She married in Feb. 1961 and she wouldn't have been showing yet.

Yes I see that now. But if you scroll down to the very end of that page, the poster gets into some really off the wall theorizing, claiming the Pentagon is controlled by the Jesuits who are also at fault for starting slavery!
I just referenced that page becuase it confirmed that FMD knew his way around cameras — maybe even had his own darkrooms set up. Most certainly had access to the dark room at the Communist paper where he worked. I notice that he met his white wife when he used her as a model. They married and moved to Hawwii, it sounds, as much to get away from her wealthy parents as to get away from the “racist” mainland.

I followed the “birther” story when it first came up before the election. The only thing about Obama that surprises me now is the SPEED with which he is malevolently driven to unravel the Republic.
The clues to his motivation were in what of his history he was trying to conceal and his brilliant, sinister campaign-—bordering on “megalomaniacal.” His voters never wanted to look beyond the veneer & the MSM refused to vet him.
I always thought if any proof came up to doubt his qualification after the election 1) the country would not have the stomach to see it through or 2) he would by then have had the time to produce his own “proof.”
The research done on FR (and on this issue in particular) is astonishing to me. I have read every post on this thread & many links mentioned to get up to speed. I don’t know if this is the issue that will stop the madness, but a Freeper I like to read called the Obama administration a crime syndicate. I couldn’t agree more...so, whatever it takes.
BTW, I changed laptops several weeks ago & lost my FR password. The last time I did that I just re-registered with a new user name, but I emailed for help a couple days ago. I explained my problem & added this paragraph which I would like to share with this thread and the Freepers here I find so impressive and admirable:
PS: If not read by Jim, can you please pass on to him a suggestion (which may already be in place & I don’t know how to use it). The suggestion is to devise a way Freepers can see on the main page which threads are generating the most comments (or when, perhaps, a topic may pass a viral number of posts — pre-determined).
Why I think this feature may be important is that there is nothing like FR on the Internet and the whole is far greater than the sum of the parts. When Freepers put their collective heads (and areas of expertise) together, the research they are able to generate is truly remarkable.
Never has this unique grassroots collective talent been more critical. Anything that can be done to help Freepers wade through the mountain of information to concentrate their efforts would be a contribution to the Republic.

There was a mention in that infamous article on Atlas Shrugs some months ago that suggested Malcolm X was in Seattle the summer of 1960 to open a Nation of Islam temple. No source.
The civil rights era apparently came fairly late to Seattle, not much action till the mid-60s, when Ann would have been in Hawaii and X dead.
Someone in Seattle with access to newspaper microfilm from 1960 could find out.
There are so many loose ends. That resemblance is amazing. Where did Barry 0 get the money for expensive colleges and world travel with no obvious means of support other than his working-class grandparents, the grandfather somewhat of a deadbeat?
