Freepers: in preparing for radio shows and appearances, I need some information. Yes, it's here (someplace) on FR, usually buried in a myriad of links. So I'm asking your help to get some concise and clear answers on some "birther" issues:
1) Is there a difference between a "Certificate of Live Birth" and a "Birth Certificate?" If so, what are the specific differences, and can a non-U.S. citizen obtain either or both?
2) Was, or was not, Pakistan on the State Department's "banned travel" list when Obama went there. This has been asserted and denied. Can anyone provide a list of such states from "da gubment" on the date in question?
3) In the noise and confusion, I have heard that a) the Hawaiian records were destroyed in 2001 or 2002; that b) the birth certificate exists; or c) a copy of the birth certificate exists. Which is it?
4) Is such personal information on a public figure subject to FOIA? (I know, it would take years, even if it was, but just asking).
5) What officials have claimed to have actually seen this, and would they know what to look for (if they inspected it at all?)

Do you realize if Zero was born in a foreign country and is made a citizen by statute he is a naturalized citizen?
Do you realize if he was born in Hawaii the best he can hope to be is a native born citizen?
Do you realize, due to his own public statements Zero is not and can never be a Constitutionally eligible natural born citizen?
No, of course you don't. You see an SC decision stating a foreign born out of wedlock child is a citizen and NEVER question what kind of citizen they're talking about.

Let me ask one one question and let see if you can answer it.
Find me the statute OR the case law that says Obama can’t be a natural born citizen if born in Hawaii.
The bottom line is YOU CANNOT SAY IT. YOU DO NOT KNOW IT. NO ONE CAN SAY IT..until decided in a court of law.
It is an unsettled matter in the law. Wong is the case under the SUPREMACY CLAUSE that lower courts have to look to and it decimated “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” clause of the 14th Amendment.
Hopefully, Lou Dobbs has a better grasp of all of this than you do.
I never said the SCOTUS case that I listed defined natural born citizen. I said it shows that the posters here are wrong when they say Obama can be knocked out as a US citizen if Born in Kenya because his mother didn’t fit the residency requirement. there is an issue here that has to be addressed and that is VOID marriage. To keep posting erroneous information is dangerous and irresponsible..especially if there are journalists who come here looking for more info...like Lou Dobbs.
Now, if anyone wants to start understanding the issue if Obama can be a citizen of a void marriage if born in Kenya...

totally different circumstances but it discusses the issues that arise for a child when it is born out of wedlock, in a marriage, or in a void marriage...and it gives you an idea of what a court might look to.
The goal here, since you apparently have no clue, is to find a case or statute that would require greater residency under these conditions because YOU CANNOT SAY FOR SURE that a court would rule he isn’t a natural born citizen if born in Kenya unless you can knock him out as a citizen altogether. YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW A COURT WILL RULE. You have to knock him out at the most basic step.
