Proving lineage is a very touchy issue because proven Native Hawaiians get all kinds of preferences and bennies. Same as claiming you are an Indian who belongs to a casino tribe. But equally, what is your source that the assertion that his sister was issued a certification of live birth comes from allegations concerning the forgery? You have a source for that or is that your assumption?

1. The "article" linked at the top of this thread refers to a Maya COLB as being the template for the forgery of Obama's COLB.

2. This was the subject of at least one thread on FR many months ago and I figure that's when the author of the article "learned" this. I'm not going to take the time to look up the thread now, but I guarantee you it was a topic of discussion here. There were people who claimed that various graphical manipulations on Obama's COLB revealed a Maya COLB as the source. Obviously the evidence for this was incredibly lame or more would have come of it.

As far as I can tell, the forgery-proving "experts" never came up with anything definitive. Personally I do not believe that Hawaiian authorities would remain silent if the Obama COLB was a forgery.

YES, take the Obama birth certificate controversy out of this for a moment ...

Many native Hawaiians are as secessionist as Texans, Alaskans, some northern Idahoans -- which is WHY the Dept of Hawaiian Home Lands exists in the first place. They want to distinguish between natives and Haole (outsiders). Here's part of their reason why:

-- Hawaii is the traveling hub for the Pacific rim
-- The US military has had a presence there for more than 100 years and will continue.
-- People pass through, have babies and stay for a while -- the "Certification of Live Birth" only shows "City, Town or Location of Birth"

SO ... how will the state KNOW who is of native Hawaiian blood from those who are Haole 100 years in the FUTURE??

The state of Hawaii won't turn to the incomplete "Certification of Live Birth" (what Obama's shown the world) to determine "blood quantum" -- they will do an internal background check, working with the Hawaii Vital Statistics office. They'll want to see the ORIGINAL birth certificates, hospital records, etc, to CONFIRM the person's lineage.

The whole idea that CNN is floating now, that the state of Hawaii destroyed original birth certificates in 2001 when they created digital abstracts is a load of manure!

Why else would the DHHL specifically ask for applicants to provide the "Certificate of Live Birth" over the "Certification of Live Birth" for the last eight years??!

If you turn in a "Certification of Live Birth" -- rest assured -- they're NOT going to accept it on face value -- they will verify it internally against the ORIGINAL birth certificate that the state of Hawaii has archived!

There is a very great deal of sloppy thinking surrounding the birth certificate issue. For example, I am particularly distressed by the appearance yesterday on these threads of an extension of the audio of Obama's grandmother in Kenya which heretofore had been used as evidence that he was not born in Hawaii. The new audio makes it clear that that statement which was presented in the original version was completely recanted in the extended version.

The quality of the evidence that he was born in Hawaii continues to be of superior quality to the evidence that he was born in Kenya. The only thing that maintains this "inquiry" is the inexplicable refusal of Obama to produce an ordinary document.

I have no doubt the months from now we will again be assured that Obama sister, born in Indonesia, nevertheless received a Certification of Live Birth falsely showing her to have been in Hawaii.

There are too many birthers with too much emotional investment in this matter who are not experienced in marshaling and sifting facts and who do their cause great disservice by simply assuming what they want to hear.

These photos were SOLELY created to answer many the criticisms of the one and only “scan image” sent out by the Obama Campaign; that this is the actual “document object with a 3-D embossed Seal and a second fold line” that was “scanned” in the original image exactly two months prior.

A patently absurb claim, even if the document shown was real, instead of being a fabrication made from a printout of the original forged “scan image.”

If one so desired to create an alias, the FIRST step is to start with a fake birth certificate! For those wishing to do so, there were ways to do so in the 80s and before -- just like a teenager might acquire a Fake ID to buy booze.

I knew someone who qualified for the Hawaiian Home Lands. IIRC she was 50% Hawaiian. My understanding is that her children did not qualify. After waiting many years she became ill before being able to take advantage of the program. If she had been able to participate I believe this would only have given her the right to lease land during her lifetime.

I am not sure if Savage fell for it. This was based upon a phone conversation from someone who claimed Savage made reference to it. I will definitely listen to his show to see if any reference is made this Monday. At this point, I feel I was taken in by what looks like a hoax story about Zer0’s Occidental records.

technically, natural born means getting citizenship from birth.

In the US, this means if one of your parents are citizens and you register with the embassy...or like McCain your parents are overseas and serving the country.

Limiting citizenship to the “father” is sexist and wouldn’t stand up in court nowadays.

As for getting money from Soros: Yes, I’m worried about that, but it is beside the point.

My problem with Obama is not a paranoia about a technical detail about his birth that even if true would not make a difference in a court, but his anti American value system...that he learned about from American born veteran Rev Wright etc...
