On Friday, we saw the letter ATF sent to FFL dealers in Tennessee telling them the Bureau was overriding the state's Firearms Freedom Act, and would continue to impose federal requirements in disregard of state law.

Come on. The UN are some of the biggest advocates of taking away individual firearms on the planet.

The federales are beginning to look and sound like the big bad wolf.

They sound suspiciously like Germany's Gestapo circa 1939 or so.

I know ..You have to remember this was writtin in 1948....in the original document every human being was allow the freedom of ideas, speech, life, liberty. Also it was very clear as to governments NOT being able to take peoples property without just reason. The first ones deal with rights of the individual. It isn’t until you get to the later ones where the tone changes (commie influence) I was just trying to make a point about the hypocritical nature of this Administration.

I have hated the U.N since jbs.

You are a gun dealer. You start selling Montana guns to Montana residents. BATF takes your license and shuts your store down and puts charges against you for illegal gun transfers. You find yourself in FEDERAL DISTRICT COURT. You are convicted and wind up in Leavenworth (which for some reason is where most people with Federal gun charges go). ALL of your appeals take 5-10 years. Your win but your life is ruined.

Which BTW I do not believe you will win. Federal prison for 7-10 years.

, I meant the shift to the commie influence more recent articles? I just wanted to concentrate on the ones that specifically had relevence in what we are up against. Some tried to infer Jim Thompson might need a passport.
I just wanted thoses trolls to understand that even their Bloved U.N. would consider that a violation of Jims Human Rights. I just thought the Regulars would pick up on that, Sorry.

"Which other Amendments besides the 10th Amendment do your agents intend to ignore while they're in Tennessee?"

I LIKE that!! It would be interesting to see what kind of response they got back!!

If the feds try to call out the Guard on a State, let the Governor say, "Sorry, we don't have the funds to pay for that (the economy, you know). And until the fed hands over cold hard cash, the Guard will just sit and wait".

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. The states contribute almost nothing to the financing of their Guard units. For instance, the State of Georgia's budget line item for the Guard runs less than $2 million per year.

Well he has a point.

Governor Perry went to Iraq to visit “the 4000 to 5000 National Guard Troops UNDER HIS COMMAND” Does Your Governor look at his/her troops as their responsibility?

Lots more Federales died fighting the locals in Montana than just at Little Bighorn. Cemeteries at the battlefield and at Fort Harrison are full of them. If Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse had had the Internet and economic resources behind them like Montanans do today, Montana, Idaho and the Dakotas would be a sovereign nation.

That would be a mistake...

When action is taken... It should be taken on a scale and in such a manner as to be the opening “salvo” of a well planned and long term “war” against the fedgov.

This action should NOT be in the manner of another OK bombing or anything that obtuse. When we start this up we should do so only after taking the reigns of a few states. Even then the goal will not be to destroy the fedgov and the idiots who support the marxists through firepower... Our goal is to IGNORE them... To remove them from any influence in our lives. To “destroy” them through apathy.

Some day it may come to the use of arms, but we should not make that initial leap. We should NOT be the aggressors, let them fill that role. But... when they do take up that role we should not shrink from it.

Kind of a version of

“if there is to be trouble, let it be in my lifetime, so that my kids live in freedom”

Absolutely, they, the fed gov, craves a few pissed off patriots to crack down on.

This country needs to be taken back the same way it was stolen, through the Constitution and rule of law..

I pray that works because the alternative would leave us permanently fractured

I’m with you. Do NOT be the aggressors.

Just let them know that they “got no juice here”,
and defend your state when they try to impose themselves on it.

Well, obviously, besides the 10th, they intend to ignore the 2nd, and probably the 1st, 4th, & 5th as well.

The BATF comes to enforce an illegal law.
The BATF agents doing so get arrested by local authorities.
Federal courts rule against the state/local entities.
Local entities tell the courts they have no jurisdiction in the matter, but if they want to take the case up in a local or state court, feel free to.

Therein lies the problem. If the State arrested the BATF agents the Feds would cut off all Federal money to the State. No Sate will risk that.

Guardsmen are no longer under the Governor's command the instant they are Federalized. That quote is a political one, not a matter of law. I don't like it any better than you do but that's the way it is.

“No” state?

I believe Nevada told them to go pee up a rope on a couple of “comply with out laws or lose your highway funds”.

And, the state’s counter would then be to escrow all federal taxes collected in the state until the balance of power was put to rights.
