WASHINGTON, DC-U.S. Congressman Mike Pence released the following statement in response to the news that the Democrat-majority Rules Committee had rejected the 'Broadcaster Freedom Amendment' which would have prevented the Federal Communications Commission from reinstating the so-called 'Fairness Doctrine' and enacting proposed broadcast localism regulations for the next fiscal year. All Democrats present voted against allowing the amendment to the Financial Services Appropriations Bill, which funds the FCC, on a final vote of 7-4.

“Profoundly Disappointed”
Did he think it would go another way? It’s time conservatives start calling them what they are.
Can you say "fillibuster" ?
Never thought there’d be a Radio Free America.
I think a major reason why it was not passed (along with many other conservative bills) when the Repubs had control, is because the imbecilic idiotic brain dead Repuke leadership caved into the DimWit minority party clamoring and AGREED TO EQUAL NUMBER OF COMMITTEE REPRESENTATION of Repubs & DimWits on House Committees. So 50% of the committees could always delay & obstruct, which is exactly what Pelosi & the Dims did for 6 years, 2000-2006.
Of course now with the socialist DimWits in control, committee represenation is proportionate to the number of Dems & Repubs.
The Repub Party never fails to live up to its creed of "the Stupid Party".
The pubbies don't get the fact that the dims believe in the concept of "never give a sucker a break."
And just about all of the current GOP leaders are suckers. (Not Sessions, though. Not in these hearings anyway. Boehner's been good lately, too.)
And Jim DeMint has also been a godsend in the Senate!!! There’s a few good Repubs in the Senate & the House, who are doing 90% or more of the heavy lifting for the Repub Party.....while RINO’s inevitably look to undermine & undercut their efforts.
Bring it on, rats!
Hey, fairness is fairness right? A lot of TV stations and News Papers will have to offer a lot of time and space to conservatives now.
Unless of course this is just George Orwell speaking and “Fairness” will be like “No Racial Discrimination” laws that are just basicly that white guys are the new N******’s. (Because once you put it in plain english, it really is too ugly for print)
“I wish Pence would comprehend that he is at war.”
+++++++++++++++
All conservatives need to be on a war time footing..this is the battle for our nation’s soul.
“1st get the Fairness Doctrine then theyll go after the Net.”
+++++++++++++++
Let’s apply the fairness doctrine to Congress and the prez...they have to say/do one actual wise thing, for every stupid hairbrained thing they do...that should raise that ratio from 1 to 100, to 1 to 1.
Never thought thered be a Radio Free America.
++++++++++
Wow, how sadly ironic...imagine how many of our daddies and grand-daddies who spilled their blood for freedom are spinnin’ in their graves with every right we’re laying down...
Are you ready to fight yet?
DeMint puts on a good show because he’s trying to sell a book. Try dealing with his office staff sometime.
China is doing the beta testing.....
China is doing the beta testing.....

What’s that mean?
Of course we will just end up with a bunch of Crossfire and Vanity and Colmes type shows that produce nothing but a bunch of sniveling bitches and do nothing for the cause.
In computer terminology, “beta” testing is done with a limited amount of users before a product is released for commercial sale.
My sarcastic comment was based on the reality that China is working hard on internet censoring software that could easily be adopted by the Baraqqis.

Turn off the TV or watch old movies.
Absent that, unplug it.
Buy patriotic books NOW, before they burn them.

So does Jim Thompson.
