Jesus Fish/Darwin Fish
--snip--
Atheists use their Darwin fish to protest against the Christian faith. That they use evolution to counter biblical faith shows how foundational the issue of origins is to the gospel, and that church leaders who dismiss it as a side issue have their heads in the sand...

However you respond to the fish with legs decal, remember that this plastic image has been intelligently designed, and this fish out of water has yet to be found anywhere in a fossilised form. It certainly is a creative, but fictional, missing link.

If evolution’s target isn’t Christianity,
why pervert the symbol of Christianity “in protest”?

If it is not real, then why do the atheists protest against Christianity? What are they so insecure about? Is it that truth conquers lies just as a light conquers darkness and not the other way around?

This self-important bloviation reminds me of an old "Kudzu" cartoon from the storyline where Reverend Will B. Dunn runs for President.
A reporter asks him if he stands behind his contention that God -- the Creator of the universe, the Supreme Being, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,... [several more panels of dialog along these lines]... the Alpha and the Omega, personally told him to run for President.
Will B. Dunn flatly replies, "Yes."
The assembled reporters crack up into raucous laughter.
Will B. Dunn thinks, "Ain't it awful how these secular humanists scoff at religion?"

I’ve heard evil defined as the absence of good, like a wound is the absence of bodily integrity.
Lies, then, are the absence of the Truth, the absolute, objective Truth.

If evolutions target isnt Christianity,
why pervert the symbol of Christianity in protest? It's not a protest, it's a joke. The people who respond with a larger Jesus fish eating the Darwin fish are taking it in the right spirit. The self-serious author of this article unfortunately lets his persecution complex get in the way of his sense of humor.

Because perverting the symbol of Islam is a good way to end up a head shorter. . . Christians turn the other cheek, so that’s safe.

They wouldn’t think to attack Islam, anyway.
In the big Truth vs Error struggle, they’re on the same side.
