Four times an eBay auction page listing an allegedly genuine copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate from Mombasa, Kenya was scrubbed from the popular Internet site, presumably for violating eBay's policy prohibiting the sale of government documents.
But now a fifth posting promising "the truth" about Obama's birth, this time in the form of a written dissertation sidestepping the restriction against auctioning government documents has remained on the site for hours; and the top bid has skyrocketed past $15,000.

I don’t do Ebay either. It is all very suspicious imho. It could be some ‘bidders’ set up by the seller to bid the item up higher as part of the scam. Also interesting is the fact that he doesn’t mention the BC on this new item bid sheet at all. He doesn’t mention that the BC comes from Kenya either on the new page.
82,300.00 at 57 bids.
It’ll go over a million...
Ask Larry Sinclair. The MSM wouldn’t give him the time of day. Here’s a man that is accusing a then state senator Obama of smoking crack and exchanging homo bodily fluids. And claims phone records to corroborate his tale. ANd the media tells him to FO and die, essentially.
From a PR hype standpoint, it makes perfect sense. That could be good, or that could be bad.
I haven't looked at this today. Are the bidders identified, and if so, what does their buyer/seller history look like?
100,000.00USD next bid.
At the rate it’s going 200,000,00USD on 6/30/09.
Since the seller never explicitly states that the auction includes the birth certificate, the buyer has absolutely no protection. Ordinarily, if the item purchased turns out to be “significantly not as described,” the buyer is covered under eBay’s Buyer Protection for up to a certain amount. Also, he can appeal to PayPal, and if PayPal determines that the item is SNAD, they will reverse the buyer’s payment. In this case, however, the buyer could not even argue that there was an implicit promise of the birth certificate, because selling such items on eBay is not allowed. So if the buyer shells out a huge sum and there’s no BC, he has no recourse. He’s screwed.
I will jump for joy if this is legit, meanwhile, I’ll keep my feet placed on the ground.
Would it be nice if this was for real? HELL yes.
Is it for real? No. And like I asked earlier, what would you do if you got your hands on this “authentic” document? Awful chain of command, clear monetary motive, etc.
“chain of command” should have read “chain of custody.”
Soros and the Obama crew doing their best to get it. LoL!
One more thing given your unfamiliarity with eBay: At the top right of the auction, you can click on "watch" to keep track of the item's progress.

Obama spelled backwards -—> bidder “a***o” Zer0 is up late tonight. LoL!
All of those bidders look to me to have plenty of previous experience ..one guy has “won” 750 auctions
for a***o this is his very first Ebay auction. He’s made 17 bids on the ‘Obama Kenyan birth certificate’ sofar.
a***o( 42)
This shows A***O has “won”42 previous auctions.
You may wish to look again. Following the asterisks, you’ll see the number 0.
Wow! $111,100.00 and there’s 8 days left.
