The protesters were reportedly upset that two Democratic senators decided to caucus with Republicans, a move that when finalized by the state Senate would hand Republicans control of it. Majority Democrats have shut down the chamber to prevent the transfer of power.

It sickens me that liberals always react to shut down things they don’t like. Remember when the Texas Democrats fled to Oklahoma and New Mexico to prevent redistricting legislation from passing? This year, they performed more stall tactics to kill the voter ID law that had passed the Senate. Yet they *always* get away with it. Let’s just see what would happen if Republicans walked out en masse to prevent Obama’s health care plan from passing. Do you think the media would look the other way like it does when Dems do this crap?
The republicans better grow a set real soon. Next time it might not be spit in someone’s face.

In today’s world, spitting in someone’s face is an assault, with potentially deadly consequences.
Keith, Rachel and Chris need to have a show linking this to right wing hate rhetoric and Christian fundamentalism.
Part of me wanted to reply with a snarky...you didn’t know that? But they are funded by our tax dollars. WE are paying them to do these things.
And it is not just ACORN per se. They are a network of organizations.
Where was security while all this was going on?
