A good question for Janice Okubo, who knows whether Hawaii issued O’s purported COLB and in what form, would have been whether, after reveiwing her files, she recognizes the document on O’s public website.

According to numerous lawsuits, the short form Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth has been legally issued to people who were not born in Hawaii.
According to at least one lawsuit, Obama’s half sister, who was born in Indonesia, was issued a short form Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth.
Bottom line - release the Long Form certificate, the one with the name of Obama’s birth hospital and attending physician, and the whole controversy will disappear.
Instead, Obama’s legal team blocks every effort to do that.
The only conclusion I can reach is that Obama is hiding something.

Obama’s COLB exists only in the virtual world of Photoshopped computer images, and you would not be able to prove your claims if you life depended on it. But, don’t take that personally because nobody else has.
What you are looking at is a fabricated image, made from other images of other people’s COLBs. It’s forged. It’s fake. It’s totally bogus. Hawaii never printed a COLB for Obama in June 2007.

Sorry, but you absolutely can get a copy of a Certificate of Birth, or Hawaiian Certificate of Birth. In fact, you have to have the latter if you want to participate in Hawaii’s Home Lands program: a housing initiative for native Hawaiians.
All you have to do is to write DHHL on the same order form that is used to obtain Certifications of Live Birth, and a COLB WON’T be accepted!
Okubo says that birth certificates are “only available in electronic form...[as] the Health Department went paperless in 2001.”

When you request a birth certificate, what you get is a PAPER DOCUMENT comprised of green security paper, a computer-generated certificate form containing birth information, ON THE FRONT SIDE ONLY, printed onto the security paper with a laser orinter, and ON THE REVERSE SIDE, is an embossed Seal stamp, date stamp, and a stamp of the Registrar’s signature block.
It’s been a year since this bogus COLB image was posted, but there’s still just that one, lousy scan image.
Okubo adds that “”The electronic record of the birth is what (the Health Department) now keeps on file in order to provide same-day certified copies at our help window for most requests.”
Janice Okubo is correct: an electronic record is exactly what Hawaiian Health Department Director, Chiyome Fukino, said that Hawaii has “Obama’s original birth certificate On RECORD.”
Hawaii has never verified where he was born, when he was born, to whom he was born, or anything else on his original birth record. Not even his original, legal name.
When Obama was allegedly born, Hawaiian COLBs were given out to foreign born children up to one year after birth. So, even if there really was a COLB for Obama produced in June 2007 — and there is no such document in existence — then it still would not prove where he was born. to be President of the USA, you have to prove that you are a NATURAL BORN US CITIZEN (NBC), and, therefore, the Certification of Live Birth CANNOT BE USED to prove NBC.
Finally, Factcheck is absolutely NOT “a nonpartisan, nonprofit ‘consumer advocate’ for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.”

The bottom line is that Obama knows that image posted on the internet is fake and doesn’t contain his actual birth information. That’s why Obama and his staff refuse to answer any questions about his birth certificate, and refuse to produce any real paper document. That’s why they fabricated this bogus COLB image: to decieve the United States Government and its people in to believing that Obama was born in Hawaii. That deception got him into thw White House, and a lot of people are hoping that this same deception gets him out of there, too.

How interesting....my best friend got a paper copy of her COB from Hawaii just a couple of years ago. It was mailed to her, not electronic as the article states
I call BS on this. Everything that requires a BC requires a copy of the ORIGINAL with the seal of that state on it. How do you put a seal on an electronic BC? This is BS pure and simple. They would not be legal for filing for anything in CA, I know that for a fact and they would not be legal for filing for SS either.
