Late on Friday The Washington Times' Christian Bourge obtained a copy of Presidential Determination 2009-19, latest in a series of pro forma memos to the Secretary of State entitled "Suspension of Limitations Under the Jerusalem Embassy Act."

It is our responsibility now to make it THE headline on talk radio, FR, the blogs, etc. and not let this tragedy pass quietly.
Many. Besides the cost involved, doing things that you know are just going to make the situation in the Middle East even worse is not a good idea.
Thanks for the ping!
Background (from Wiki):
The United States Jerusalem Embassy Act, passed by Congress on October 23, 1995, states that “Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel; and the United States Embassy in Israel should be established in Jerusalem no later than May 31, 1999”.
The act asserts that every country has a right to designate the capital of its choice, and that Israel has designated Jerusalem. Jerusalem is defined as the spiritual center of Judaism. Furthermore, it stipulates that since the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967, religious freedom has been guaranteed to all.
However, U.S. presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton have argued that Congressional resolutions regarding the status of Jerusalem are merely “advisory”, stating that it “impermissibly interferes with the President's constitutional authority”. The U.S. Constitution reserves the conduct of foreign policy to the President and resolutions of Congress which make foreign policy are arguably invalid for that reason. The U.S. Congress, however, has the “power of the purse”, and could prohibit the expenditure of funds on any embassy located outside Jerusalem. The U.S. Congress has not taken this step.
In the course of its history, Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. My interpretation: Obama withdrew his "executive" support for having a US Embassy in Jerusalem, meaning (in my eyes) he is trying to de-legitimize and de-recognize Israel's right to be in Jerusalem (in part and/or in whole) ...Today, the status of Jerusalem remains one of the core issues in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem has been repeatedly condemned by the United Nations and related bodies, and Arab Palestinians foresee East Jerusalem as the capital of their future state. In the wake of United Nations Security Council Resolution 478 (passed in 1980), most foreign embassies moved out of Jerusalem, although some countries, such as the United States, still own land in the city and pledge to return their embassies once political agreements warrant the move.
Yes, about 85% STILL supported him at his 100th day, according to Jerusalem Post.
Means nothing. U.S. Jews will support Obama in overwhelming numbers no matter what his policy is toward Israel. Death wish.

I agree. There is no hope for people possesed.
It is very frustrating to even carry on an intelligent conversation with them.
So in essence Obama is asserting that Israel does not have the right to claim Jerusalem as their capital.
Thanks
You are on the mark with that one. That is the next major event to unfold in prophecy.
Just how much does it cost to erect an 'Obama hut'?
Bibi for president!
FYI
Americans Jews who are also liberals, are liberals first, Jews second. Since 1920, American Jews have always voted Democratic, although Reegan and Bush II polled the most of any GOP Presidential candidate (39%-44%).
The bottom line is that liberals tend to get their news from the Leftist mainstream media, and this election was like no other in terms of how the media directly manipulated the outcome. Thanks to the media's slobbering love affair with Obama coupled with their rabid attacks on McCain, and especially Palin, 65 million non-Jews bought into the same hype as the 1 million+ American Jews.
In other words, O-BOZO's promises and pledges to Israel have morphed into an nonegalitarian, nomecumenical, mishmash of morons.
At first glance, that's my interpretation.
I'm sure he has something more devious planned -- like to build a mosque on the land set aside for the US Embassy...
I catch your drift; however, I just don’t see him as that good - yet. Without a teleprompter, he is not that smooth. He’s also not showing himself to be one that Israel would WANT to make peace with. I believe he is a forerunner to the evil time sent to take us down. I have thoughts about who could be “the One” however, the little horn portion is a bit cryptic, so I can’t be dogmatic. I haven’t ruled B.O. out, and yes, he seriously creeps discerning folks out. So, I think what we can all agree on is the time we are living in just really has the feel of something majorly prophetically significant.
Yes. I expect that or Isaiah 17 next.
Attention Jews of Earth
Stop drinking the Obama-flavored Koolaid!
It is poisonous and will leave you homeless and massacred.
That is all.
Yeah, that crossed my mind too. Perhaps the rebuilding of the Third Temple may be at hand as well ...
If I were Israel, I would think twice about receiving any foreign aid from the US for a while... O might just call it a bail out.
Ooops... too late.
