Here is the video of Fr. Norm Weslin's arrest by University of Notre Dame police. He was carrying a cross and singing a hymn in honor of the mother of Jesus Christ ---"Our Lady" -- "Notre Dame."
What evil deed did they think he was going to do if they didn't arrest him: launch a devastatng, full-scale Rosary barrage?

Arresting a Catholic priest at Notre Dame! What a hateful thing to do. This will become Notre Dame’s Kent State moment. The image of a holy priest being taken down has to be one of the most shameful moments in the entire history of Notre Dame.

Fr. Norm has had both arms broken by the police at abortion clinic protests in the past. Reportedly, he cannot under even normal circumstances even raise his arms high enough to touch his head.
Having his arms pulled all the way back and restrained had to be excruciatingly painful.
Law enforcement officers were told this as they were arresting him. They ignored such pleas.

I couldn’t get through the whole thing, it made me want to go hurt someone. Strapping this peaceful old priests hands behind his back has got to be right up at the top of evils.

If Obama had any sense of propriety, he'd thank Notre Dame for the invite, then say that his scheduled appearance there was obviously divisive and he'd withdraw. But he's going just so that he can show those hicks who cling to their religion that he's the boss.

As an Orthodox christian, and a cop I wouldn’t have laid a hand on him. I’d have gladly taken the ensuing write up, and days off without pay.

The police officers obviously didn’t have any experience in arresting a gentle elderly person, so instead of going on common sense they went by the book.. I’d resign if I were them.

“792......how disturbing. Pray for this country”
And no matter how many times I watch it, the count is still 792.

I was in tears when the man who was assisting the Fr because of his poor health, plead over and over again,
I want to go with him.
I want to go with him.

Handcuffing in the front is not safer for the police transporting an arrestee. Some departments require cuffing in the back.
HOWEVER, when you have an 80 year old priest, you might take a "risk" and provide him Some confort so as not to injure him.
Is TSA still body searching 80 year old ladies in wheelchairs? Same mentality.

Dear Fr. Weslin,
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

As an Orthodox christian, and a cop I wouldnt have laid a hand on him. In one video, you can hear someone saying to the cops, "Join us." I pray that happens this weekend. And God bless you for your intention

Hi. This one needs to go viral. I know you have a big Catholic community there in Philly.
Take care of you.

And no matter how many times I watch it, the count is still 792. I watched it more than 35 minutes ago, and the count was 792 then.
I just checked back again, a few seconds ago, and the count was still 792.
If that's the truth, it means that not one of the people who have downloaded this FR story have clicked on the link and watched the video. After I did, of course.
I'm going with "it's BS, Alex" for $400.

I think they have a delay on registering the number of hits the video gets.

I have sent the video link to everyone in my family and several friends. And that is not preaching to the choir either. Be brave people, spread this around to everyone you can think of.
