I think any Catholic or Evangelical University will think long and hard before Obama’s invited to speak at their universities in the future.

I think he's doing it to sow division among Catholics. We already know that the 'social justice' Catholics supported him. Maybe he thinks that by coming to Notre Dame and causing all this ruckus, he'll turn those Catholics who voted for him even MORE against faithful Catholics, and the Bishops who have denounced his being given an Honorary Degree by ND.
