A contentious "Rightwing Extremism" report that warned of military veterans as possible recruits for terrorist attacks against the U.S. was not authorized, has been withdrawn and is being rewritten, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Capitol Hill lawmakers.
"The wheels came off the wagon because the vetting process was not followed," Ms. Napolitano told the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday.
"The report is no longer out there," she said. "An employee sent it out without authorization."
The report was shared with state and local law enforcement officials nationwide via the department's internal Web site on April 7, angering Republican lawmakers and military veterans who said it unfairly stereotyped veterans.
Ms. Napolitano did not say when the report was taken off the "intel Web site" and all Homeland Security Department Web sites, but she said it is in the process of being "replaced or redone in a much more useful and much more precise fashion."

She is doing it because of political pressure, not because she disagrees with it.
A lot of people are not getting this whole fake process the Obamabots are going through. These people are cold and calculating. They do nothing without turning the issue inside out and understanding every nuance and gage every possbile outcome. They are evil, but they aren't stupid. There are two main goals when they do this.
1. Make Obama's massiah-legend grow, make him look "good" at all costs.
2. Demonize the Right.
Here is how it works: In the case of "the Memo", After a MONTH, with the media tongues playing it up as the RIGHT is outraged, the average Headline-reading American is pounded day and night that claim right-wingers who believe in state's rights (gasp!) were in the military (the horror!) limited government (what could they be thinking?!) could be terrorsts---and the knuckleheads believe it. Katie Couric wouldn't lie to THEM!
The point is, the notion is out there, people are forced to think about it. It's on the late night "comedy" (propaganda) shows. People are stupid and they just make that assumption now--and they'll even implicate Republicans by extension.
The DAMAGE IS ALREADY DONE!
It's the same way with the pics of Abu Garib that "were" going to be released. THE DAMAGE IS DONE, and that is worse than what the pics actually show. The notion is out there, and actually releasing the photos would be less damaging than the image people conjure up in their own minds! BO had no intention of releasing the pics---he just wanted everyone talking about it, and in the case of liberals, fantasizing about it.
Even people like Sean Hannity are sucking it up, saying he is proud of BRrack for rescinding the order to release.
It's all a carefully planned. This administration does nothing without assessing it's effect. THE DAMAGE IS DONE. Welcome to the New World Order.

Reminds me a white lie I used to tell my sons when they were little. 'Pee in the pool and the water around you turns pruple.' Must have worked because they all got out of the pool to pee behind a tree.
So instead of raising pool pee'ers I raised tree pee'ers. My 'baby' is graduating HS in 2 weeks and has played baaseball throughout. The joke in the stands is that he will have a special plaque placed in that very special yellow spot in the woods beind right field.
But at least he does not pee in the pool.
