Time to call out the Big Guns.
Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have cancer.
Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.
Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated.The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.

I am so glad to hear you are feeling pretty good. Sorry to hear you are stuck at the Cancer Center today. Will you be there for a while or can you sleep in your own bed tonight? Prayers for you, Petruchio. I wish I lived near you... I would visit and do my best to ease your mind. Of course, with me... that usually involves making someone food (which may be the last thing on your mind right now). Prayers up.. hugs, Mom
The Infusion takes about 4 hours and then I am free to go.

I have several people very special to me who have gone through that. It is quite a challenge. Prayers are certainly up for you, Petruchio!

Yup, Infusion #4 Day 1. In about 4 weeks I will have another CT scan to see how well the Chemo is working.
You’re looking good, Petruchio! Did you get new sneakers for Christmas?! If not, they look brand, spankin’ new!
Almost new. I bought them about 2 months ago. My old pair grew holes in the sole and now are regulated to gardening and lawn mowing. [grin]
Happy New Year Petruchio! You may have spent today in the infusion room, but you also spend every day in my prayers.
I wish you a wonderful New Year, Petruchio. I pray for you every day and thought of you often during Christmas. Granted... it wasn’t a great New Year’s Eve for you. Sitting in that chair with an I.V. isn’t a grand time. Hope tomorrow is bright and wonderful for you! Hugs, Mom
