Last week, an unruly mob of radical protestors at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill chased former U.S. congressman and anti-illegal immigration spokesman Tom Tancredo from his speaking engagement. Police were forced to use pepper spray at one point while protestors tried to push their way into an already packed room. Tancredo stopped speaking when protestors outside the building broke a window in the lecture hall (video) .
Last night, it initially appeared that a similar mob might do the same to another former congressman, Virgil Goode, a Virginian who is an outspoken opponent of affirmative action and shares views on immigration to Tancredo. Yet between Goode's persistence, improved security precautions by the university, and some support from members of the audience, this time it was the mob that was silenced.
The night began much as it did in the previous week. Radical groups again circulated flyers urging students to protest, and again met in The Pit (a campus gathering spot) for some pre-speech preparations. They danced and paraded, some wearing giant masks of the three monkeys of speak, hear, and see no evil fame. "Hey, ho, YWC has got to go, they chanted,"
YWC stands for Youth for Western Civilization, a new campus organization that invited both Tancredo and Goode to the Chapel Hill campus. Protestors have publicly characterized the YWF as white supremacists for their conservative views. One of the main organizers stated that the earlier protest's main goal was to stop the YWF from inviting more speakers like Tancredo.

Any "protester" who threatened him like that (covert or overt) should have been arrested. But alas - there are two standards in this country. The "Affirmative Action Liberal Democrat" standard - and the standard for everyone else. The former (it appears) can do as it damn well pleases.

I remember these guys back in the 60s and 70s when I went to college.
Their “bible” was, “The Thoughts of Chairman Mao.” They referred to it affectionately as, “The Little Red Book.”
They were the organization from which the Weatherman, the Weather Underground (Billy Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn), and the Symbionese Liberation Army were spawned.
This week, when one protestor shouted at him, “We know where you live,”
To which the reply should have been.
“You are here now”!
An M-60 would do just fine for crowd control for these vermin.
Give 'em a whiff of grape-shot?

Agitate for one hour and watch the panic set in as their bowels get distended with gas.
There is another way as well. Video tape the audience and anyone who tries to stop free speech is thrown out of school permanently. It would only take one event for the rest of the radicals to get the message. Of course, this assumes a University run by people with balls.

Yeah, first conservative leaning group that tries this would be evicted from school. Never happen to the lefties because the schools are in bed with them.
I agree; simply shoot a few and the rest will quickly fall in line. But then again I protest our government and I am not looking forward to getting shot. So, I guess I shall carry a gun and shoot back.
It worked pretty well at Kent state. Death is a highly underrated motivator.
Take down the names of the protesters.
Publish them.
Then announce that all of them have just failed their entire course load for the semester.
Actually he will be on the Durham parks and recreation staff or the NCC faculty. They take care of their own.
Now, now, with the proper recommendation he might make a fine Chicago community organizer.
