WASHINGTON (CNN) Senior White House adviser David Axelrod on Sunday suggested the "Tea Party" movement is an "unhealthy" reaction to the tough economic climate facing the country.
Axelrod was asked on CBS's "Face the Nation" about the "spreading and very public disaffection" with the president's fiscal policies seen at the "Tea Party" rallies around the country last week.

But but but Hillary said it was good to dissent. In fact she said it was “patriotic”. Is it only “unhealthy” when you don’t agree with the cause?
They are scared to death of the parties.
David needs to get out more often.
No, just get OUT.................and take Bambi with him!
And so they are - for the continuance of 0bama's despotic rule..
Being as ignorant as David Axelrod is unhealthy.
Hey Axelrod, my constitutions rights are not unhealthy.
What’s unhealthy is that people voted for that teleprompter puppet who now occupies the White House.
What’s unhealthy are the marxist/leninists who occupy Congress and whittle away at the foundation of our country!
What’s unhealthy is that since Inauguation Day, my blood pressure and acid reflux have escalated!
I feel better now.
There, fixed it.
As a Statist he is understating the effects of TEA parties.
Just as progressives consider the 10th and 2nd amendments unhealthy and antiquated.
I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any republican administration.
Everyone call your Congressman — regardless of party — and Raise Hell. They need to feel the heat on the budget in order to achieve any reduction in spending. Also hit home that we are tired of being treated with disrespect and disdain by the White House, Democratic leaders, and their media handmaidens.
Pick up your phone. They don’t give a rats ass about emails.
They are scared to death of the parties.

I think you’re right.
Tea parties must be bigger and more often until the entire country realizes the mess we’re in.
David is the effective POTUS. O’zer is just the visible presentation. Dave sees major problems in the mid-term elections if his policies are questioned by the electorate and real difficulty in four years if losses occur in 2010. Yes, he is afraid. He should be!
There is no way I would post on a Marxist MSM forum.
Why would I even give them recognition?
Besides, I don't have a condom big enough for my computer.
God knows what I would get from CNN with teabagger Cooper
on their staff.
Wait til Obama’s EPA and/or Cap & Trade policies get pushed through.
You ain’t seen “unhealthy” yet, you socialist clown.
Axlerod’s response is a good thing, they realize they’re in trouble and 2012 is getting closer and I hope Saracuda rips the WH a new one.
